  1. I don't know his overall record but I belive that Daryl Woods called plays for him at the burg but he had his hand in it. He does call the plays now though
  2. Whitley will bounce back with a win 42-35. I don't think Clay can stop the combination of run and pass.
  3. Corbin as much as they want.
  4. LC starts 8 freshmen or Soph. Coach Mitchell said this is the youngest team he has had since 84 85. The actual numbers are 28 players and 20 fresh and soph. LC is just as young if not younger and they took Whitley to the woodshed bottom line. Everytime LC wins over a team thier are not suppose to beat all there is, is excuses or that team is not any good.
  5. The Jackets always play LC well. I look for it to be a very close game. I will go with the Home team 48-44 LC wins.
  6. Great win for the campers. Whitley moved the ball well but just could not put it in the end zone. Whitley ran 80 plays to LC's 34. LC's D line and O line really dominated. I think Whitley only had about 100 rushing, While LC had about 350.
  7. SL back on track 35-24
  8. The BIG guys love this weather the most.
  9. In SE Ky the defenders most always cut the lead blockers against running teams, it is part of the game plan since most officials in this area will not call it. Since the rule has been instituted I only saw it called a couple of times and I have seen many, many games.
  10. The way Lynn Camp played on Fri. against dayton they couldn't beat their own 8th grade. If they hope to have any chance of winning any game left on their schedule they better pick it up. Harlan has played a better schedule and will be well prepared. From what I have seen LC is not a very good team and I look for the dragons to take one from the kittens 18-6
  11. what advantages does each of the QB's for Dayton have over the other? Is one a better passer and the other a runner?
  12. NO WAY!!!!!!!! Lynn Camp in no way should be mentioned in the same breath as Beechwood or Mayfield. They have some very good players but come on Beechwood. No disrespect to Clinton Co or Cambellsville but the only team LC has beaten that is any good at all is Cumberland and it was in overtime. LC lost to a Clay Co team that in my view is not a very good 5A team. LC has proved nothing. Dayton on the other hand has some quality wins against better teams. Dayton at home should win. If LC wins they should deserve some respect but that is a BIG IF.
  13. I just don't see the jackets slowing the skins down. The skins are so athletic they should not have much trouble defending the pass. I look for the jackets to go down in a big way. 49-28 with 1 score being against the skins jv
  14. I am just using these teams as examples. I am not sold on Hazard because their district is by far the toughest of the 3. Cumberland and Evarts are both very good and will be tough outs home field will play big in this district. Pikeville and LCA will easily win theirs and as much as Lynn Camp has improved on Defense I do not think Williamsburg can stay with them plus the Jackets go to LC. Williamsburg is really good offensive team though. By the way I hate this playoff format
  15. district 6 LC would play district 7 hazard the winner plays district 5 LCA vs district 8 Pikeville in the third round. The winners meet in the semi's http://www.khsaa.org/football/2007/fb1a2007.htm
  16. this year it will actually be Hazards' district then Pikeville LCA winner to get to the carpet
  17. I thought this was the year KC was to suppose to contend for the district title. I guess the still can beat Rock for 2nd.
  18. Welcome to SE Kentucky officiating. As a whole it may be the worst in the State. Their are a couple of good crews but for the most part it is very poor.
  19. I guess the cupcake district that the Jumpers hand picked is just what the Dr. ordered.
  20. Josh Baker from Lynn Camp 6'3" 295. Roskoff loves running behind him
  21. As long as Cumberland stays together as a team they will contend for the district title. I have seen Fields play a couple of games and he is darn good.
  22. Lynn Camp is district 6 and Hazard is district 7 this match up district would play in the third round and the 4th would be against the disctict 5 (LCA) VS district 8 (Pikeville) winner. http://www.khsaa.org/football/2007/fb1a2007.htm
  23. The winner of LC district will play the winner of Hazard, Cumberland district and then the winner of LCAs and Pikeville in the semis
  24. I would not get to down on Cumberland they are a very good team. Lynn Camp Laid a egg against Clay Co and as the season goes on people will see that LC is going to be good. I have already seen 4 or 5 of the supposed top 10 teams in Class A and Cumberland is right their with any of them. LC is nolonger just Roskoff they have 3 others that can score from anywhere. Wagner had a great game on offense and Cumberland had to double cover Mitchell so that helped get a safety out of the box. Cumberland will battle Hazard for the district Championship. Also from what I was told Roskoff had 29 carries for something like 211 or 215 don't know if that was official or not.
