Well, here it is now. The slug fest that is the Cats and Jackets. Lynn Camp wins and it's their district. W'burg wins and there's a 3 way tie.

 

What's going to happen this year? Jackets have been on a slide and Lynn Camp is playing some very consistent fooball. Who will win?

The Jackets always play LC well. I look for it to be a very close game. I will go with the Home team 48-44 LC wins.

Lynn Camp should win, but stranger things have happened than a loss to Williamsburg. Williamsburg's offense will always give them a chance to win, it's just a matter of where the defense can give the offense a chance to secure a lead. I won't set my pick in stone, but I have to believe Lynn Camp is a couple of TD's better this year, although after this year I believe the advantage will shift to the burg for a couple of years, then most likely a few years after that back to LC (just the way of the world in Mountain 1A football).

Well here we go...the Burg and the Campers. Lynn Camp brings in an impressive running attack led by, I believe, the best running back in the mountains, Joe Rosskopf. The Jackets offense has shown they can put points on the board. Will the Jackets youthful D be able to slow the "J" train enought to outscore the Campers? My heart belongs to the Jackets, but my head understands how goood Lynn Camp is. I'll say this, the winner of this game will be wearing orange...lol.

Before I make this statement, let it be known that I am well aware that games are played on grass, not paper.

Lynn Camp beat Campbellsville by more than 40.

Campbellsville beat Williamsburg 68 to 36.

 

I have a hard time believing that Williamsburg will be able to slow down Roskopf, Wagner, Mitchell, or Steele.

I have to lean towards the Camp on this one.

W'burg seems to always play LC tough, but the wildcats should be able to put the jackets away if (and its a big if) they put forth the effort they did vs. Whitley Co.

Don't really think the "if" factor will be there.

 

The effort has been there all year, and the kids know what is at stake, so I think the complete effort will be there against the Jackets.

 

They will prepare for the Jackets like they are New England. They WILL NOT Overlook them.

Friday is black out night for all the fans so the winner may be wearing their black uniforms. It might be old school Lynn Camp football, black uniforms and running thru the spirit line to "back in black". I cant wait...... can we play the game tonight? lol

I heard from the guy that announces LC's games that they might save back in black and come out to something else. I reckon we'll just have to wait and see what Friday night holds in store for us.

Lynn Camp wins, because they are impressive. Joe is a great back, but watch out for Sidney Wagner, he is the man too. We won 20-15 and I believe Lynn Camp is the second most physical team we played.

Lynn Camp by a bunch. I think the week off will help Williamsburg heal up but it is the Campers turn. This series seems to flip flop every couple of years and the Campers are probably too much for the Jackets this year.

I think Lynn Camp will win big this game. Williamsburg is young this year and have struggled as of late. I have seen them play vs Cumberland and I see alot of potential in that team if they can get their game on.
