I heard from the guy that announces LC's games that they might save back in black and come out to something else. I reckon we'll just have to wait and see what Friday night holds in store for us.

 

Every time they use "back in black" the crowd really gets fired up, I hope it is what they use. I wander if the players pick the song or the announcer picks it.

its usually the players that pick the intro. He also gives the backs a chance to pick a post-touch down song.

well thats cool of him to do that, i cant remember what Joes or Super Sids td songs are even though ive seen them score so many. I think they will both have big nights friday.

I honestly think this game is going to be a lot closer than people think, Lynn Camp will most likely win but I do think Williamsburg will score some points and make this game interesting. Not to mention the rivalry factor can always make things interesting.

When did firetruck sirens become part of a football game, and why are they there anyway? Maybe Joe R. might get smoking hot after a long td run:p, IMO forget the "if" factor I talked about before, I'm sure some may recall the female kicker back in the day! CATS win big.

I think the sirens followed the cannon blasts to the games everwhere with the fireworks close behind. (And, yes, the female kicker is still VERY much remembered in these parts!)

The fire trucks started in Quenton Henson's freshman's season. Lynn Camps old field was right behind the fire station and we used to sit outside Friday night and watch the games. One of our fireman was an assistant coach and without anyone knowing but him and Quenton when Quenton scored a TD he pointed at the fire dept and we turned on all the lights and sirens on our old pumper. A lot of our firemen went to school at Lynn Camp so the fire dept really supports to football team and all of Lynn Camp athletics win or loose. In 03 when the beat Pikeville we escorted them from the school to the interstate lights and sirens and when they lost to Beechwood we met them coming off the interstate we escorted them back signal 9.

Everyone keeps talking about Williamsburg's youth, but Lynn Camp is also extremely young. I know that's been mentioned before, but I just wanted to reiterate the point that out of 28 kids Lynn Camp has 22 freshmen and sophomores.

My prediction? Lynn Camp by as much as they want. Williamsburg lacks the physicality to tackle Roskopf or Wagner once they turn down field.
