So, Pain just from just one team? Is that what you are saying, Colonel Nation????? I see a physical game. Every game in this series is brutal. It could end up being 702-0, but, Colonel Nation, I will guarantee one thing to you personally: WCHS, with or without the starting QB, will know they were in a football game with Lynn Camp. The score may not tell the tale, but LC can, and will, play physical football with anyone they play. We are not scoring right now. We had troubles stopping CC, which, as I said earlier, could be BETTER in the skills sets than WCHS. I have not seen WCHS this year, but I am familiar with what they have. I am capable of comparing the two teams (CC and WCHS) and can tell you what I have seen. We are however, still laying licks. LC will not just sit there and be tackling dummies for the Colonels. Anyone who knows this series knows better than that. Its bitter, its brutal and its all out there. It would not be a shock if it was a blowout. Its happened before. It would be a shock if either of these teams ever just let the other one abuse them without fighting back. You are right about the pain, but it has always gone both ways.

LC has to find a way to score. I think Labanion will be on the field. We've all seen it before. Resurected starters. I don't know if WCHS can score 50 without their starter. I don't know if LC can score 6 the way they moved the ball this week. A lot of questions on the field now.... I don't see LC breaking out an air raid, or a mini air raid for that matter. LC has to play better defense than they did last week. WCHS is probably better than Clay, BUT I don't know if WCHS's skill players are better than Clay. Not a knock on WC, but I am a believer in what I saw from CC friday. If you get a chance to watch them, make the trip.

The newest version of what seems to be a 200 year old series will be played at LC friday. (I am almost certain that the first settlers on Spider Creek and the first settlers on Briar Creek met in this series....and it was probably decided on a late kick.) I have to think that WCHS is going to be a lot to try to handle for the Cats this season. We have won 2 of the last 4 and the series has been going to the home team. I want the Cats to take it, but I am afraid WC has way too much to handle. (Maybe some of the Pioneer ghosts will help us out?:scared:)

One of the Jackson boys hurt their ribs, I think. Don't know how bad. Clay is PHYSICAL! Now we have WCHS getting ready to make up for the loss to LexCath rolling in. Going to be an interesting week at the old field starting monday.....

Better than the way a lot of seasons have started for NL. New coach, new attitude, first win. I will say HUGE, too.

This was what I expected. No shame in this one. Good learning game against a very good team in front of a hostile crowd. If you let LexCath into the 40's, you are going to lose most of the time. BUT: WCHS did hang up over 30 of their own. They'll be mad at our place next week......

Hooker, Miller and Reid were awesome! We just got plain old whipped..... They will be a handful for a lot of teams. We, however, look to be headed for a Very L-O-N-G season.

Both teams looked a little tired in the second 15 minute period. HCHS did play better D in the second one. Both of these teams will do fine (and get much BETTER) as the season rolls on.

Passing is not anywhere near where it should be. It will have to come around. I did like there ground game. Backs looked good. Line play is a lot better than what I have been told it was. IF CHS will get it's passing game up to par, they will be looking good by district play. A few kinks in defense, but looked solid. Hounds broke on the ball well. HCHS has to work on their blocking. I saw a few bad exchanges in the backfield, too. I really can't say how good their passing attack will be, they seemed to be running the ball a lot. Their defense is going to have to lock down a lot more before their district starts. They face a lot of running teams in district and Corbin was running the ball straight at (and through) them. But, once again, the season is young. A lot of time to fix things. At least both teams have the tools they need to repair their shortcomings. That is why we have these scrimmages. It was a fun night down there.

I still say that IF there is a copyright infringement, it comes from the vendor, not the school. It has to be ordered from someone who is making it. It is not up to the customer to have to work out these details. Bottom line: If someone is producing it, and making money from it, they are the ones responsible for making sure no toes are being stepped on. Schools are ordering online, out of catalogs, from salesmen, from...well, somewhere. They are not producing these logos. Once in use and having t-shirts and such made, there could be a situation for the school. But someone other than the school is producing the helmet decals.

I just got in from this one. Both teams look like they still need some work, but looked OK. Season is young still. Corbin's running game was really the difference tonight. Looked good moving the ball.

No prediction but I would LOVE to see this game....

IMO, when push comes to shove, the Tigers have enough gas to pull this one out in the end. Cats will put up a fight, but the 4th qtr. will decide this in Clay County's favor. LC will not be able to contain late. Lynn Camp's Boosters take the long drive back down the four lane towards home 28-16 losers.

Well, if you are going after the high school for using such things as helmet decals, the more logical thing to do would be to go after the maker of the decal that offers it for sale, would it not? For example changing the color of a college logo for a high school's use. The school is not making their own decals. They are purchasing them from someone. Lynn Camp and Corbin both use a different color "Clemson" paw than that of the university themselves.

Clay has had a history of being up and down. They were tough with Lewis and now start a new direction without him.
