  1. Great season guys. A lot of great football was played by our Rams this year. Though we didn't make it to the pizza box you guys showed that we can play with the big boys. You guys got us that one step closer by showing what hard work and dedication to your team can do. As for our seniors. Way to go guys, I've watched almost all of you since your first practice in JFL. You guys really step it up this year and set the bar high for years to come. We'll all miss you.
  2. They should be pretty good next year. As almost always there is some very good talent just waiting their turn to step it up and play Ram Pride football. We almost always have a good season year in year out, some a little better than others. All this is do to the support our kids gets from JFL all the way to varsity. It comes from the coaches at alll levels, the fan base, the students and most of all the parents. They start playing day one as a Ram and this is what makes Raceland football what it is. RAM PRIDE:fight: :fight: :fight: :fight: :fight: :fight:
  3. Definitely. We at Raceland have played them home and away over the years. And they are always a class act.
  4. That they do. And very enthusiastic.
  5. It'll be harder on the smaller schools who rely more on the multi sport athletes. And yes it definitely happens.
  6. I know the schedule for next year is set. Renewing an old intense rivalry with Russell as the last game of the season. A predistrict game with NCC would be good for Raceland. Our starters need more playing time to prepare for the playoffs. In most of the district games this year the 1st string Rams were on the bench in the 3rd quarter. This doesn't prepare us for the big games like we had Friday against NCC. Does NCC still have Beechwood on their schedule for next year? I couldn't see them not scheduling them.
  7. I know the Rams have a tremondous feeder program and with the realignment next year and the talent of LCA and the Rams, either team is capable of making a run at the region. Speaking of realingment, this was probably the last meeting of the Rams and the Breds. Although the Breds dominated the series it's sad to see it end. I think both teams had a fair amount of respect for each other. Good luck in 2a next season NCC.
  8. No that's the first time in at least a couple of years. Qouted myself here from a previous post. Just to add. during my oldest sons senior nite game he came in so low and right down the middle of the field I thought the light posts would be sucked right out of the ground. Now that was awesome.
  9. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
  10. That's for sure. We saw him put it up against us last nite. He's got a couple of very capable recievers to get the ball to also.
  11. Big scores on the scoreboard in the NCC vs. Raceland game. But also some great defense from both teams. The Rams defended NCC's running game well and NCC took on the air attack of the Rams.
  12. For you NCC fans here's a link to a local photographer who takes some great game photos. I know he's a Ram fan but there's some really great shots of the NCC players in action http://www.jcw.exposuremanager.com/g/rams_2006
  13. Thanks for the support EE. It's been great posting up with you guys this season and maybe I'll get to meet some of you guys next season. We'll be looking forward to another district title next year
  14. Great post:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: That pretty much sums it up for all us die hard, orange blooded rams. As far as years to come. We lost a lot this year but there's some great talent ready to move up and fill the voids GO RAMS:ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper:
  15. Thanks. It's a touch from a couple of years ago when we were the air raid offense. If it had been daylight you would have seen a Russian fighter jet, but it doesn't have enough lights to be seen at night. It would have been about 10 times louder and you would have seen a rollout at the end and going vertical. Now that is an awesome sight.
  16. The breds were very good at converting 3rd and long. That takes a lot out of the D to think you have them on the ropes only to have them convert.
  17. http://www.dailyindependent.com/localsports/local_story_322011956.html Heres a link from our local paper If any of you NCC fans have a link for a writeup from your area I'd like to see it. I like to get the opposing areas feel for us.
  18. Congrats from a neighbor down the road. Good luck on your run for state. Just wish we could've have made it to the pizza box with you guys.
  19. After seeing NCC play Raceland last night they are a very good, well coached, disciplined team. I'll go with the Breds in a close one. By 1 TD.
  20. Thanks and same to you guys. You've always been great to us on our trips to NKY. One thing on counting points. The cheerleaders have to do pushups along with you. LOL. Our cheerleaders are some of the strongest in the state. Good luck on your run for sate.
  21. Congrats to NCC on a hard thought win and good luck on your run to the state. NCC has a truly 1st class program and 1st class players and fans. A big thank you to my Rams. Thanks for a great season and some really exciting football. I've watch you seniors since your first days in the JFL. J.T., Scotty, Brad, Clint, Scotty Mac, Benji. Gonna miss you guys. Thanks.
  22. Pregame/tailgate is on right now.
  23. :fight: I talked to Aaron's dad earlier in the year and asked him what it was like in the horseshoe. He said you just have to experience it. It's nothing like he had ever seen before. I've watched Aaron play almost all his life and it's great to see him out there doing what he does best. GO RAMS:fight: :ylsuper: :fight: :ylsuper: :fight::ylsuper: :fight: :ylsuper:
