Brent's 40 was actually less than that and Student Sports in supposed to correct it. Rivals has ran several articles referring to what a good showing he had; however, he had a bad night the night before. He found out Friday night that a basketball teammate had died in an ATV accident.... As far as the Elite 11, their was an article that mentioned the competition winner and others that were commented upon for their performances. I didn't see anyone from KY mentioned out of around 25. The competition winner was a sophomore (rising junior).

Brent had a good day at the Nike Camp in Athens. Top 5 in two events, seventh highest SPARQ rating of almost 500, looked good in drills. Also posted a 38.5 vertical at Adidas.

Vandy has been in for Slusher. I think Wake was there today. Tennessee and Auburn will be in soon.

I should have said that the kids with a ranking have been evaluated in some way. The others that are listed....someone sent in the info and that's what's showing.

The list is far from complete. The kids on there have been evaluated in some way....combine or film. It will change 10 times before February Nobody's list is going to be 100% this early.

I can see your point. I look around at all the overweight children at school and all over and I have to disagree. Kids don't play outside as much, watch too much tv, sit in front of computers and Playstations, and eat trash. They've reduced recess to almost nonexistent in most grade schools and PE around here is a joke. They usually aren't required to dress and I see kids sitting on their butts (usually the ones that need it the most). In FL, kids used to be required to take PE EVERY year and were made to dress out everyday (male and female) and to participate. I'm not sure if this is still the case, but it makes me wonder if there's a correlation between that and the number of athletes they turn out.

35 at San Antonio (I think he was a little lagged out from the travel). If you'd ever seen him dunk, you'd know he could do a little better. I think he's around 37 or so.

He did for the tight ends. He has the 7th best vertical EVER at the Army combine.

Just my two cents.....if you have to pay to play, it's probably just a vacation. Your money would probably be better spent on going to some good camps.

Slusher was at Clemson and Kentucky this past weekend.

What do you call the dog-stomping Bell gave Rock at Rock the year before???? Like I said, it didn't mean Bell would win this year and Rock's win this season doesn't give an automatic for next. Lots of things change in a year.

And it's just a fact that Bell did beat Rock once this season. Oh, and it's also a fact that Bell beat Rock pretty bad the year before (56-7)....just goes to show that what happened "last year" doesn't necessarily mean jack.

I think that the mountain kids are somewhat "geographically challenged" in that they don't get quite as much press.

I think that to be a Mr. Football candidate for next year, the player will have to be a senior next year.

Let's try this in a serious mode: Who will be in the running for Mr. Football?

They will have a new LB next year. Charlie Cox is a senior.
