Were there any seniors who you expected to sign or thought had the ability to play at the next level but did not sign or are not playing college ball??

For Northern Ky. i was suprised that Canafax (NCC WR) didnt sign (where will he play?) and was also a lil suprised the Roch (CCH PK) didnt sign. Does anybody know if these two are gettin any looks? From their ability i would have thought they would see some action.

Does anybody know who Sean Mcgee is talking with? He too was a good player for the colonels. Great hitter

Alot of kids that you don't hear about have either put playing football behind them or are planning on going to a D3 school to play college ball. Because D3 schools do not give athletic scholarships, these kids usually don't make alot of noise. Nick Metzger from Dixie for example is leaning very heavily towards Thomas More. I'm pretty sure he will be a Saint next season (which if you know Nick may be a stretch  ). Brady Huenfeld from Dixie is planning on attending Uof L, but I don't think he is going to play football.

Did TK Guess from Crittenden Co. sign anywhere I know he was be recruited by a couple of D1 schools and sever D1AA

Any word on where 2nd team all-state QB Ian Holbrook will sign?

What did the qb from Hazard do? Did he sign?

There's been some talk about T.K. Guess going to UK as a Preferred Walk-on. Don't know if this will happen might be more speculation then anything right now.

LeVar Weston DL/OL (Hopkinsville) didn't sign yet. Has offers from Austin Peay, Murray St., Kentucky Wesleyan, and some other small schools. UL looked at him hard as did UK but his size in then end did him in. 5'10 265 All State player. Was the best Linemen last year at the Hawg Heaven Camp in Owensboro.

Chuck Thomas DB (Hopkinsville) hasn't signed yet. Vanderbilt is interested and he made a visit there during the season. Austin Peay, Wesleyan, and Murray St. are in the picture with him.

Brandon Robinette DE/TE/FB/QB (Hopkinsville) most likely going to play baseball at the next level.

Forrest Pittman OL (Hopkinsville) academic scholorship to the school of his choice. UK or UL is where he will end up but he won't play at either of those schools. If plays college ball will be at the D2 or NAIA levels

John Reed LB (Hopkinsville) can play at the next level probably at a Cumberland or a small school like that. Smart football player, plays hard, and gets the most out of his abilities.

Josh Ladson WR/DB) (Hopkinsville) Murray St., Austin Peay, Wesleyan, and some other smaller schools like him as a WR.

The last I heard was that Corbin WR/DB Eric Blackwood was walking on at UK. I've not heard anything in a while so that could have changed.

What about Ladale Rider from Whitley County?

Chaffin??

Gumm?

Here is the scoop on Canafax....

Cincinnati has been in contact with him over the past few weeks (including a face to face meeting at school in January). He is awaiting confirmation of a "preferred walk-on" invitation.

Dayton is also in the mix. Josh is scheduled to visit Georgetown this Thursday (2/9). The Tigers have been interested in Josh since day one, but he wants to wait to see how the UC situation plays out.

Is Matt Sauerbeck of Campbell County going to play anywhere next season?

Bardstown LB Melvin Scott got a full ride ACADEMIC scholarship to Louisville and will be attending in the fall. Probably won't try to walk on and play football, which makes me sad, but I'm so proud of him I could bust.

QB Brian Calhoun is still playing basketball. Somebody needs to come down and get this kid, I promise they won't be sorry.

HB Kwasi Obeng is being recruited for track by UK.

Such a great senior class at Bardstown, but doesn't appear any will play football in the fall. Amazing how such great classes just pass by in time . . .

Stephen "Buckeye" Hunter, wide receiver for the Bell Co. Bobcats signed a full scholarship LOI to play football and baseball for the Union Bulldogs next season.

Chaffin??

Gumm?

Just read on "another" board Blake will walk-on at UK. Does anyone know if he is qualified yet? Would be great for Blake.
