final

Corbin's zone defense turned Bell into a perimeter team which is not Bell's game, they spent a lot of time just throwing it around on the outside until someone decided to shoot it. Corbin threatened to blow it open a couple of times, but committed way too many turnovers against Bell Co.'s press to keep Bell in the game.

Another good win for the Hounds, is Whitker still out for Bell Co? Any stats from the game?

Corbin dominated on the inside and scored the majority of their points in the paint. I expect that the Hounds shot a good percentage, but they don't really get enough shots because of the turnovers. Bell's half-court offense kind of reminded me of UK's and they probably scored at least 25% of their points by converting turnovers into easy baskets.

Corbin:

Crawford - 17

Swim - 16

Tate - 11

Bell Co:

Zachary - 14

Mackey - 12

Sanders - 11

Goins - 11

Whitaker is still out. Nice win for the Hounds against my Bobcats.

Sorry to hear about Bell's lost. When Lee played them at the Country Music Hwy Tournament, I became a Bell County fan because of the incredible sportsmanship of their players. After our game, one of the players led our players to center court for a prayer. One night, I had the fortune of seeing the Bell County players off the court and relaxing in the hotel's pool and their conduct far exceeds any I've seen of other kids their age.

I just wanted to say you have a tremendous group of young men playing for your team and should be proud. I'm confident they will go on to win many more games despite this loss and wish them the best of luck. I know I for one will be rooting for the Bell Co. Bobcats as well as my own Lee Co. Bobcats.

This has to be one of the nicest posts I've ever seen on here! I just wish there were more like it.

a GREAT post, I have watched Jermey Saunders over the last 5 or 6 years in middle and high school, if most of their players have an attitude like his I can see why you feel this way a quality young man.

Even though it seems like Sanders has been playing high school basketball for about 10 years, I hate to see him graduate this year.
