What fields are a disaster or nearly a disaster after the games tonight?
Just saw highlights on TV. I'm voting trashed.
-
Christian Academy-Louisville 15 Central Hardin 0
Pretty much the reason I was pulling for CAL. At some point adults have to put player safety above perceived advantages.

What fields are a disaster or nearly a disaster after the games tonight?
According to the friend at Central Hardin their field is trashed.

Christian Academy-Louisville 15 Central Hardin 0
According to the friend at the game who ever decided that it should be played tonight was nuts. The field is trashed and it's lucky both teams made it through without injury.

Simon Kenton 13 Conner 6
How may wins do those teams have between them?

Christian Academy-Louisville 15 Central Hardin 0
No clue. I wasn't at the game just heard the score from a friend there.

Christian Academy Louisville/Central Hardin Updates
Go CAL!!!!

2A Christian Academy-Louisville at 6A Central Hardin
Seriously?
-
2A Christian Academy-Louisville at 6A Central Hardin
Certainly the fact that CH is a grind it out, smash mouth, little or no finesse type team, whereas CAL is a bit more passing oriented didn't have anything to do with this decision did it?
-
2A Christian Academy-Louisville at 6A Central Hardin
Why was this game not rescheduled or at least moved to CAL where they have a turf field? How well does Central Hardin's field drain? Can any high school grass field take the kind of rain we are getting and be safe to play on? If anyone gets hurt as a direct result of playing on a :poop:y field I hope the administrators that decided to play this tonight take lots of grief.

High School vs College Football
I like both and this Saturday after watching Trinity/Moeller in person I'll be at a watering hole watching Louisville/Purdue. There are things I loathe about the current college game. TV timeouts seem excessive and excessively long. I also go to NFL games and the game seems to flow better. I hate the current replay system. Even on plays that no one is disputing there are stoppages that take forever to "confirm" the ruling on the field. They need to go to the same challenge system the NFL uses.

Vote for Trinity kid for USA Today Player of the Week
Anybody know when voting closes? I've followed Chicago rules and voted often.

Trinity JV concerns
Weren't you the one predicting the worm had turned before the best freshman team St. X has ever fielded got beat 40-10?
-
6A #1 Trinity vs. Moeller (OH)
Trinity changed to and I'm completely in favor of doing it. As much as I like to slam JCPS over their stupidity at times, the schools that opted to change made the right decision regardless of what the final outcome with the weather is.

Umbrellas: Are they permitted in your stadium?
I'm a harsh guy.
-
6A #1 Trinity vs. Moeller (OH)
And according to Trinity Twitter they are currently exploring options with Moeller.

Umbrellas: Are they permitted in your stadium?
I wish Trinity wouldn't allow umbrellas any time, even practices. If you can't handle the elements you shouldn't be there.

6A #6 Simon Kenton at 6A # 10 Conner
Start drawing Ohio kids. Nothing stopping you but yourselves.

6A #6 Simon Kenton at 6A # 10 Conner
What's your point? Does SK only have 433.3333 boys? That would be 1/3 of the male population at Trinity. In another thread didn't SK's number 1 fan say that they had open enrollment and kids from out of their district?

Will the worm turn this year?
There are schools in Kentucky, both public and private, who have student athletes who live out of state. There is no KHSAA prohibition against it.

Will the worm turn this year?
I remember when Brian Brohm graduated many predicted that Trinity's successes over St. X were short lived. I remember after the infamous hat tip game in Bowling Green many declared that the pendulum had clearly swung to St. X. Now we have worms turning. Will momentum return to C in this series? At some point it will, but I don't think it has yet.

Will the worm turn this year?
Nope. Greenies beat the Baby Bengals 37-7
