The more I read about this the more I realize that AAU basketball is an absolute cesspool and unfortunately has became the premier place for college coaches to watch players. Ultimately, if this leads to the downfall of the current AAU system that I'll be ecstatic. AAU unchecked will eventually kill high school basketball.

I've maintained support for the overall program but honestly knowing the number of people like me who were much less secure financially then either Jurich or Pitino will be after this that were just let go because changes were desired I have no tears to shed for him.

I believe that the way to rule works is that if the post-season ban keeps the athletes from playing the rest of the time they are eligible then they are allowed to transfer without sitting out.

Why should he not go? There have now been 3 MAJOR scandals in his department's highest profile program and he's allowed the head of that program to remain after the first 2. Either he's complicit or his judgement is skewed towards Pitino. Either way he needs to go.

Pitino, through his attorney, is quick to try to deflect blame. I'm a UofL grad, a letterman and alum. I'm embarrassed, I'm sick of the scandal surrounding Pitino and it's time for him to be gone. I have less of an issue with CovCath being ranked 1 then with Trinity dropping all the way to 5th, behind Male who they shut out. More proof that this outdated formula needs to die.

Incredible to me that the new school (that many on here said would struggle) have put themselves in position to not only make the playoffs but to host a game. The only district loss I saw for them is Scott County.

I find ventriloquism very interesting. As a youngster I was intrigued by Paul Winchell and Shari Lewis. How hard is it to speak clearly and distinctly without moving your lips? She not only does she she sings with incredible vocal range. I don't impress easily but she impressed me.
