I heard that they (KHSAA) decided to play this years games at U.K. Is this a rumor or still at WKU? I thought we had a year or two still on contract at WKU..... Would love the short drive from NKY...

Here is the schedule released earlier this summer...

 

Friday, Dec 1: 1A-2pm, 3A-7pm

 

Saturday Dec 2: 2A-1pm, 4A-4:30pm, 5A-8pm

 

Sunday Dec 3: 6A-2pm

I do NOT understand that Friday setup. 5 hours between games on Friday, but 3:30 between games on Saturday.

 

Why wouldn't they do 3:30/7 or 4:30/8 on Friday to allow more folks to work half a day?

Probably has to do with traffic on a Friday. That first game would be ending right about Lexington rush hour.
