FINAL Holy Cross - 85 Dixie Heights - 58 Jacob Meyers ended up with 46 points, I believe. Big Sam Gibson must have had close to 10 blocks tonight. Indians started off slow but really picked it up after halftime -CardinalsFan

Any updates on the first game of the evening?

At Halftime, Holy Cross is up by 10 on Dixie Heights, 38-28. Jacob Meyers became the all-time leader scorer in 9th region history a couple of minutes before halftime. Celebration was very understated. Took about a minute which included Jacob walking over and handing the game ball to his mom. Classy. -CardinalsFan

Good call out rjal. It seems like Cooper is loaded...not sure how they amassed all this talent but they have it in spades. To your other point, it is impressive the spunk that such a tiny school like Holy Cross shows. There is no reason a school their size should be competing with the Jags but they do. What is interesting to me is that in both this game and the previous game, the Indians have not played anywhere near their best and they are likely to win them both by double-digits. Hazard just didn’t have the energy/stamina to run with this Holy Cross team. Meyer is over 30 points AGAIN and Sam Gibson continues to be a rebounding machine. 15 game winning streak appears to be coming to an end for the Bulldogs.
