???? Final from the "Classic" at EKU.

All 'A' record setter? Longest game? Latest/earliest game? Biggest comeback?

Aces led by 19 points, 4:50 to play in the third quarter.

OC: 16-8-10-6 • 40 (7-4-2-8) • 61

UH:   3-6-9-22 • 40 (7-4-2-7) • 60

This almost guarantees a victory for Holy Cross tomorrow, right?  No way that OC will have enough gas in the tank to keep up with the Indians for four quarters…right?

From the All "A" Classic record book, it appears there have been four games go to double overtime but nothing more than that. Definitely the longest. The four double overtime games were:

• 1990 - Caverna 64, Greenville 62
• 1990 - Maysville 69, Walton-Verona 68
• 1999 - Allen Central 65, Covington Holy Cross 64
• 2006 - Newport Central Catholic 75, Mayfield 69

The first two games in 1990 were played at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington.

Tough turnaround for OC with the game tipping at 1:30 today.

Could be a rough start, but these are 15-18 year old kids. Coach Riley of the Aces has some experience in big tournaments too; I suspect he knows how to pace his teams.

Lesko Indians!
