  1. Been a while since we've heard anything about the Indians from LA Tonia @nkypete, what say you? Heard our boys have some real speed this year and just acquitted themselves quite well against Holmes in the 7 on 7. New Attitude. New Class. Better results? LET'S GO INDIANS!!! -93CardinalsFan
  2. Hoping and wishing for a Wildcats win today. They are a fun team to watch and should represent the 9th region well. Lyon Cty is a TOUGH opponent to draw. This game could easily go either way. -CardinalsFan
  3. 2nd half is where CovCath has come to play so far this year. They seemed to have been down at halftime vs. several teams and found a way back. Should be a fun second half of basketball. Good luck to both teams on a hard-fought, well-played game. -CardinalsFan
  4. Wow...didn't get to see or hear any of the game but this was the outcome I was rooting for. Really hope Newport can shock the world and win the region. They are a fun bunch to watch. Their All "A" Regional final against Holy Cross has to be one of the top 3 games in the 9th region this season. Gained a lot of respect for them. They are going to be a FORCE the next two years...assuming all of those kids stay. Good luck in the final Wildcats! -CardinalsFan
  5. This has been brutal. Gotta believe Cooper is going to wipe the floor with either of these teams. Honestly, whichever team comes out of the locker room hustling and moving line their shoes aren’t filled with cement should win this game. HC has missed a TON of free throws and is uncharacteristically off from three. -CardinalsFan
  6. Not if you know Cohen it isn't. Right up his alley, sadly. -CardinalsFan
  7. So my only question is this: Which one of these two teams is "supposed" to win this game? Now, I know the easy answer is NEITHER is "supposed" to win, but either could. I don't believe that. I feel like one of these teams should be favored over the other. To put it bluntly, this seems like the kind of game that Holy Cross needs to win. The let down vs. NDA in the district final still bugs me and feel like the coach needed to do a better job down the stretch utilizing offensive players when needed most. I will be there on Friday to check out this titanic struggle in hopes of a 9th region matchup between the Indians and the Jags for all the marbles. -CardinalsFan
  8. Moeller? “extremely" irresponsible? Unfathomable. 🤣 -CardinalsFan
  9. They got someone to agree to the non-compete huh? Wow…Moeller situation is “challenging” to say the least. If true, I wish him well. Know nothing about him. -CardinalsFan
  10. That is one of the most eclectic schedules I have ever seen. Welcome to class “A” football Indians!! -CardinalsFan
  11. Congrats to the Lady Indians on knocking off District Champ Dixie in round 1. Friday’s game vs. Ryle should be a good one! -CardinalsFan
  12. Holy Cross finishes 21-8. Beechwood advances with an 11-18 record. Yeah, I’d say it’s a bit of an upset. -CardinalsFan
  13. Holy Cross with 4 made 3-pointers on the night. What an incredibly frustrating way to end the season and the careers of these Holy Cross Seniors. -CardinalsFan
  14. Holy Cross is picking the worst possible time to poop the bed. They can’t hit water if they fell out of a boat. They should be drumming this team and they are down by 6 near the end of the third. Make no mistake, losing this game and ending their season in the district semis would be a COLOSSAL disappointment. Need to dig deep and find a way to win this game. -CardinalsFan
  15. Nice summary and good predictions. Can certainly see those playing out. -CardinalFan
  16. Correct, Doug Rosfeld. I assume that was a step up in pay and opportunity. 😁 -CardinalsFan
  17. Yep...that sounds about right. No matter who chooses this job, the alumni are not going to be happy but unfortunately, I think the administration has made the job a difficult one to take. How else can you explain the recent turnover. Nice to see you Conch...always one of my favs. 😉 -CardinalsFan
  18. More surprising than the HC loss last night? -CardinalsFan
  19. This is never talked about and it should be. He is so much better than anyone on the floor most nights that he rarely ever gets calls his way and he should. That was really evident when the Indians went down for the All “A” classic. Those refs were much more fair across the board and I am certain that HC went to the line more in those games than maybe any of their 9th region games this year. Holy Cross has a history of not being able to close out close games but to let a 26 point lead slip through your fingers is inexcusable. Really would like the perspective of someone that was there. -CardinalsFan
  20. What in Gods name is going on with the floor situation? Why do HC players keep falling down? -CardinalsFan
  21. Great job @Adrian Woj Burner! And I may be a bit biased, but I certainly agree with you POY assessment. Meyer has had pressure on him all season to perform at a ridiculously high level every game and he never disappoints. He is absolutely the hands down favorite for 9th region POY. -CardinalsFan
  22. 20 turnovers…wow. Not winning a game like that is a gut punch. Nothing to be ashamed of, certainly, but would have been great to see them win a game they weren’t favored to. Especially at home. -CardinalsFan
  23. So at what point do you decide that it wasn’t working and they needed offense? Isn’t Bottom the leading scorer on the team? Did that strategy make sense to you? -CardinalsFan
  24. What in the you know what happened to the shooting @Baseball Nut 24?? I listened for most of it and I don’t think I heard Sara Bottom’s name called one time? This seemed like a very winnable game. What was the deal? -CardinalsFan
