I hate to see a huge discrepancy in fouls called when both teams are playing the same physical defense. Pikeville was in foul trouble all night. The Pikeville radio guys, who tell it like it is and rarely complain, were fairly irate. These things happen playing on the road. Not saying cheating, just a real good homecourt advantage Perry has.:fire: Time to move on. Pikeville and Leslie should be a good one...

I guess. Something about Perry's home floor just made Pikeville foul a whole lot and Perry not foul much. But I'll defer to your one quarter of expert observation.:sssh:

Well they won the district last year which was a huge step, and played the champs to the wire in the regional tourney before losing by 3 in the last minute...They are very young, play great defense and hustle...very fun to watch and could be pretty good... Pikeville vs. Paintsville on Tue. will be an early season measuring stick for them...

Pikeville has failed to win their district the last 2 years...how many times has that happened in the history of the school??? Like NONE. Win the district before you talk about getting to Louisville without having to purchase a ticket...:confused:

Somerset was not a top 5 team. They lost to every decent team they faced.

My point was, it makes for a very easy schedule for P'burg...99 out of 100 on here will agree that P'burg will be playing a very easy schedule... Have you heard P'burg is playing Betsy Layne and South Floyd as well???

Teams 4,5 and 6 all have tradition, but Lawrence and Paintsville are at the low point in the history of their programs and Pikeville can't even win their district...
