SV 62, Pikeville 49 Game was close most of the game. SV hit a shot at the buzzer to be up by 4 at the half. Then the Wildcats pretty much shot the lights out in the 2nd half. Full house and great atmosphere... Pikeville didn't play that bad other than a few unforced turnovers, but SV played great...

Wrong...all 19 points in the 4th from the line. Raceland only had one field goal in the 1st quarter also. Pikeville got jobbed bad in this one, and the coaches are sending a tape of the game to the KHSAA.:thumb:

Two emotional district games for Pikeville on Tue and Thur, game against Ashland Fri and then long bus ride and early game Sat...too much and this loss isn't surprising....

Good luck to him. Enjoyed watching Brad play. Congrats to the rest of the Panthers playing on the next level. And also the rest of the graduates, all very good guys who will do very well...

I'd say it was more of not thinking that HHS would start out 0-19 threes, commit 25 turnovers, Taylor (great player) shoot 0-10, etc...and underestimating Scott Co. a little as well... I actually rooted for Scott Co. in the game. They will be up against it still when they travel to Huntington...

This is awesome...I would love to see the Highlanders ranked #1 in the country when the season is over...looks like if they beat St. Patrick it will happen, unless some crazy ref gives the whole team and every fan two technicals in the WV state tourney...:banana:

Perry hit like 8 threes against Pikeville, they don't go inside every time. Pikeville went inside just as much and didn't live on the line all night like Perry did...

Exactly. Thank you. Pretty obvious what was going on. Pikeville radio guys called out that guy by name also, and they rarely if ever complain while calling a game.

Not confusing anymore. Obviously a disgruntled parent of a player...radio guys didn't mention selfishness or lack of team ball and they are pretty good at relating what goes on in the game...
