The best of luck to Tony, Matt and Mike in their future coaching adventures. Anyone that knows Tony, knew this was coming. Despite popular belief, he would have returned to The Grove with a bare cupboard if his job wasn't so demanding. He's done a fantastic job and the people of Silver Grove will love him forever. He'll never pay for a milk shake at the Dari Bar again.

Very happy for Corey. I hope he does stellar things there. Will the signing be at Pelle's?

Congrats to everyone who was honored with these awards. Lots of hard work and dedication has been recognized. Also, congrats to all the coaches who were selected as COY. It takes special people to spend the time away from their families that is required to run a program. IMO it's a joke to have a school not show up to receive their hardware. Joke.

I also believe Mike Reitz will stay at Campbell. Other than his boy playing at Harrison County, I do not see a reason for him to leave. However, if he does leave, his replacement may be from the same district, but it won't be the guy who's team where's blue and white.

Great job from Scott to comeback and hold on for the win. Boy those kids from Harrison played their hearts out. Tough that there has to be a winner and a loser. The best of luck to Scott Saturday.

Congrats to Coach Lickert! I wish him the best of luck in the COV. Does anyone know when he will begin weights and conditioning for next season? I agree with a previous poster, that's the base of a successful program and he is a nut when it comes to that stuff. I can only imagine his style with the athletic kids that will be playing for him. Any word on assistants?

I may be crazy, but head to head comparison will never determine outcome of a game. Basketball is a game of match-ups. Scott is a tough match-up for Harrison County. Scott's defense is better than P.C.'s. However, Harrison's zone defense could hurt Scott...never know though. Crazy things happen in tournament time. Scott by 10. Good luck to both teams this week.

And if it is, then I will be extremely happy for him. Mike Code is a great coach and his brother will be a great Head Coach someday as well.

Is Julius Talbot back playing for Harrison County?

Have you seen Brossart's starting 5 and bench players compared to Scott's? Please understand, I think Mike Code is an AMAZING coach. He is just as deserving of the award. However, Brad Carr has turned a bad program into a contender in three seasons.

Cooper and Jones are both great big men. Scott will not blow out Harrison County Thursday. Harrison has not improved by 33 points, but improved they have. Scott also played that game with their injured player, not that his injury makes them worse. Should be a great game to watch IMO. If Brad Carr does not win COY in the 10th, then they should do away with the award after the season is finished.

They had enough talent to make it last year. Buzzer beater in the 1st round ended that hope...

Agreed. Tony has also been extremely blessed with the Pelle boys. Let's see what he does without them next year. Believe me, I hope he succeeds there, he's done a great job where Steve Hart left off.
