Is Brossart's frosh team bad? 48 points in a 32 minute game seems like a lot. Bellevue must have a nice team this season. Congrats on the win?

Highlands v CovCath frosh has been rescheduled for Saturday evening. Kick-off slated to be at 6:00 pm from what I heard.

I think they lost two seniors. I may be wrong, but I know the Poe kid is out and I thought there was another. Coach Highfield will have the Panthers competing for another DIII crown this season. Returning key players in Rouse and Gere (sp?) will be a tremendous factor when games are on the line.

Love me some Mike Yeagle. I hope he has a stellar year in Erlanger.

The weight room is a common place for staph, boils, etc. Think of all the sweat and other stuff floating around in there. Depending on the school, if they don't disinfect with spray or other cleaners, things will fester.

There is word that Villa Madonna has hired Rob Sawyers to lead their baseball program. Rob has coached at Conner, Bellevue and most recently at Scott High School. We'll see. Personally, I think other kids in the program will shine brighter. I don't see a 6'1 center dominating anyone.

I watched Scott play in the summer, and no way did the kid you talked about look like he would be one of the top two players. Make no mistake, he is strong, but he is not basketball savvy. I may be crazy, but the O'Conner boy, although still not mature, is twice the player Nikola is. Brad Carr will produce winners in Taylor Mill for the third year in a row. Tyler Baker, or no Tyler Baker.

Well I can assure you that I have no kids and have zero interest in Campbell County sports. Sounds as if you have issues yourself on this matter. Nick Shay is better than any freshman or sophomore that I have seen play at CCHS.

NCC - 2 Holy Cross - 1. Shaun Meyer went the distance for the Breds as they advance to play Beechwood, who defeated Bellevue. Game will be at Beechwood. Cov Cath beat Ryle, Scott beat Brossart, St. Henry beat Calvary, Dixie beat Simon Kenton.

I too have seen him play, and he is pretty darn good. It will surprise me greatly if he isn't starting varsity next season.
