  1. If BG scores 17 points, there's a good chance they're going to win.
  2. Here is what it will come down to, can BG contain X's run game. It's not that X has a tremendous running game but watching some clips from the BG/Boyle Co. game, Boyle was able to consistently get a solid push at the line of scrimmage. Tha is where I see the biggest difference between the two teams. BG's offense will give the X defense a lot of fits because they'll spread them out and force the Tiger defense to make open field tackles. If BG can stay ahead of the chains they'll be in good shape, but get in 3rd and long and I don't think the BG OL will be able to handle the pash rush from X. From the X standpoint I'm glad this game is where it is because it'll be a good test heading into the playoffs to get starters and rotators high level of competition before the playoffs get underway.
  3. Future looks bright on Poplar Level Rd.
  4. Male has been a confusing team to figure out this year. Might be the injuries, I'm not sure.
  5. I streamed BG's Rafferty's Bowl game; I didn't they'd be able to hang with X this year. As the season has progressed, I think they've improved as much as any team. Like most years their offense will give the X defense issues because of the way they spread the field and the mobility of the BG QB.
  6. I think St. X wins 24-10. These are typically low scoring contests, and with being the last game of the regular season it will be interesting to see how each manages this game. Both obviously are going to want to win, but philosophically it will be different than if the game was earlier in the season.

  8. It felt like X wanted to pass a bit more early because they knew they could run it pretty easily and effectively.
  9. By the look of some of these scores 6A playoffs could be exciting for the first time in a while.
  10. Didn't see this one coming.
  11. it's going to be hard for the PRP OL to give their QB consistent time in the pocket all game. Think Carter and Panariello could have big games off the edge for the X defense. Dixon will get some yards because he's that good, but when those yards occur will be key for determining if PRP can hang around. I'm sure Dixon will be excited too facing former teammates and wanting to put some of them on his highlights.
  12. Go Tigers! Big game tonight with significant post season implications.
  13. Just saw this score... that's a tough loss for South Warren. Are they now in 3rd place in the district?
  14. Congrats to the fighting Coach Griff's and the Raiders football team.
  15. Tigers take care of business. Dixon of PRP will get his yards and I'm sure get some extra opportunities to put up some numbers against the St. X defense. But just like the PRP coach stated, playing four quarters is tough on them and St. X will wear them down. St. X - 42 PRP - 14
  16. Another Football Friday has arrived! Go Tigers.
  17. This is the video I remember looking at back then when I heard about the game. I wasn't at Greenwood that night; I was actually down the road at another game that night.
  18. I remember a little bit of that game. I think there was a potential non fumble call that Greenwood recovered that would have set them up with good field position. I think X was up a score when that happened. The game was closer than the "experts" predicted.
  19. Games like these it's about getting 2nd and 3rd team guys some varsity snaps; let them be rewarded for putting in the work during the week throughout the season.
  20. Love the Purples/Gators banter! Law of averages says Greenwood will win at some point, just not sure when that point will be. I'll take BG 35-14.
