Saint Xavier (6-1) travels to Butler (2-5) after defeating Manual 21-10. Butler is coming off a 42-0 loss to Pleasure Ridge Park.

The St. X defense continues to dominate by holding the Manual offense to a field goal. The St. X starting defense has only given up one touchdown to a Kentucky team this season.

Butler continues to struggle under the shadow of their fellow JCPS Traditional school Male Bulldogs who gets the bulk of the talent in that system. Butler's best win is a 20-13 win over Fern Creek.

Common Opponent:

Male 36 Butler 0

St. X 24 Male 10

Last year, St. X beat Butler 48-0.

Can Butler pull the massive upset or are the St. X starters done by halftime?

A whole lot to very little.  I'd say X dresses all the Freshman for this one will be over quick.

Should be a running clock to start the 3rd quarter.

StX rolls 56-0. Defense/special teams score 2 TDs. Running clock early.

Games like these it's about getting 2nd and 3rd team guys some varsity snaps; let them be rewarded for putting in the work during the week throughout the season.

Another Football Friday has arrived!

Go Tigers.

Jaxon Panariello and Micah Carter aren't suited up tonight. Have some minor injuries and holding them out of this game since won't be needed.

A well timed breather for those two and St. X, in general.

Tigers will receive.

Butler kickoff looked like onside kick or very short. X returned to B 35.

X run. 2nd and 11.

X run. 3rd and 5.

X run for 1st at 25.
