Final per the update thread. 

 

This was the Dane Parsley show. I was surprised at how well the FS pass defense played but the Raiders did the damage on the ground, mostly by Parsley and Hollis. FS looked like the better team in the first half and left some points on the field with too many penalties. Third quarter was even but the fourth quarter was all Raiders. 
 

FS will likely host Hopkinsville in the first round of the playoffs. East will make some noise in the postseason. 

Just an all out change in urgency and play overall second half from the Raiders to win over their rival for the first time in ten years.

I believe this is just the fifth time in 53 years the Raiders have beat Franklin Simpson.  

Dane Parsley is just… different. You have to see it up close. 

The QB for East is an absolute bull! Huge culmination of the program that Coach Griffith has been building at East for the past several years. 9-0 and hosting Daviess with a shot to go 10-0 and possibly secure a top 4 RPI. Great win!

8-37.  1988, 1992, 2006 (x2), 2007 (x2), 2012, and 2022. 

I'd have been interested to see what might have happened if this were in Franklin.  That first 2007 matchup is the only time East has won at Franklin.

This is a really good win.  Franklin Simpson is still a good team.  Down perhaps from their state title teams surely, but still a good team.

Interested to see what the Raiders can do this playoff season!

Congrats to the fighting Coach Griff's and the Raiders football team. 

I think you can expect Dane Parsley to pick up some offers soon. What he is doing is incredible. Some of the runs I still can't even believe. A senior laden East team is lead by a sophomore quarterback who can, simply put, flat out freaking play.

Couldn’t believe Dane Parsley is only a sophomore. I watched a highlight video and he looks legit.

Have heard great things of the young man!  MANY strong Sophomore QBs in Warren County.  Uncanny, really to know they are all Sophomores.

I can't speak for what video @charlesw88 is watching but you can find most highlights from the season with the exception of last nights game on his personal Hudl account.
