Congrats to the Tomcats. Good luck @ Morehead. The Eagles had this one where they wanted with Ashland forced to foul in the last two minutes. We just didn't convert at the line. Back to work and both of these theams could do well @ regional.

:eek: What they did have was probably the best inside threat in the region, in Baker, Williams and Hampton, two solid guards in Adkins and Craft, who played their hearts out, were each capable of going off for 20 and who were able to dish off to the three after penetration. They also had a very solid bench.

:lol: This season is not last season. I've been on a bit of roll this year. Most recently, picking Russell over GC by 1, Ashland over Rose Hill by 5 and Rose Hill over Greenup by 1.:popcorn:

:idunno: Craft, Baker and Adkins were three of the top seniors in the 16th. Any one of them was capable of taking over a game. Mix them with Williams, Hampton, etc and this was GC's year to shine. Those three seniors will be sorely missed next year and you may be looking at Williams' senior year before seriously competing for any title. Russell, on the other hand, should be much better next year and in years to come. Best wishes to Craft, Adkins and Baker. I've enjoyed watching you play and wish you nothing but continued success.:thumb:

The 64th District Championship is set. Who will take round 4 between these two teams. Fairview leads the series 2-1 this year.

The time out for Ashland on a loose ball in the 4th when clearly nobody had control of the ball was critical. That being said, Rose hill clearly benefited from two non-calls when Bush slid about three feet on his back with the ball and when Bush was lying out of bounds with his hands on a loose ball. Bonner clearly walked on one possession but went on in to score. There were missed calls on both sides but the foul differential is troublesome.

I also heard from a very reliable source @ the Ashland game, that he did make the comment. Good luck to the Devils in the final.:thumb:
