KHSAA would eliminate if the members brought it up and passed it. While we are eliminating things lets go ahead and eliminate 3 team districts. Where someone can get to region without winning a game. So in theory a team can lose there first game and win a state title......How fair is that??

Isn't that the truth!! I looked at West's team page on KHSAA and only 2 seniors are listed on the roster.....Any word if they quit or where dismissed? What a shame heading into district. West had made some great improvements this year!!

South Laurel is a s good as they have been in years. This team is as good as the team that made the elite 8.

I thought they won the district in 2003, maybe runnerup. But I remember them getting a trophy before a game. IMO they don't have the size on the line to make them the best in school history...... My question is who started this stuff about best in school history?? Coaches, or was it Eads from the paper??

Some schools in your area have middle school in the spring. I know Whitley County and Rockcastle do.

I might be wrong..need to go check..but I am thinking 2004-2005 season South Laurel got beat on sat. morning by Lex. Catholic. South Laurel was still in the 12th then. I think that group of girls made down to Elite 8 in volleyball and final four in basketball and probably pretty far in softball.
