ColyCrazy Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Just wondering about your thoughts on what happened. http://www.jessaminejournal.com/stories/2009/10/07/whs.941109.sto
Dlbdonn Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 (edited) In my experience when you donate blood you are not allowed to do anything strenuous for 24 hours .The Coach was right in holding her out of practice , but perhaps there could have been a little more communication between her and the team . The girls then overreacted during the game . The coach was right again in sitting them down . The Inmates do not run the asylum . And neither does the previous coach . vballcoach Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Wow! Very interesting article! And well said.....The Inmates do not run the asylum. And neither does the previous coach.
MountainThunder Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I think the coach handled it the right way.
EQUUS GREVYI Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 It sounds to me like the seniors made a poor decision without having all of the information. Hopefully it will be a learning experience that they will remember and draw upon later in life.
cvb Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Sounds like it was disrespectful to the coach and to the rest of the team. As seniors they should be setting a good example to the younger players not causing a distraction during a match.
notme Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Sounds like it was disrespectful to the coach and to the rest of the team. As seniors they should be setting a good example to the younger players not causing a distraction during a match. Isn't that the truth!! I looked at West's team page on KHSAA and only 2 seniors are listed on the roster.....Any word if they quit or where dismissed? What a shame heading into district. West had made some great improvements this year!!
