Clyde I don't post much here, but that's not exactly true. There are a multitude of schools and coaches leading the charge......not just one. Take that to the bank. If Holy Cross knew what the area schools thought about them they would petition the KHSAA to move to the 1st Region, or maybe across the river. Just saying.

Look I dont have a dog in this fight. I read this board sometimes and see some really "interesting things wrote" would be a nice way to put it. Im not a "Premier person" or a "AAU person". I do know who the players are in that side of basketball by way of sometime association. The Royals are a small time grade school AAU program. That is the facts. You can sit on your high horse all you want and scream AAU state champs and whatever little mom and pop tourney champs all you want, but the reality of it is this. If any of these EYBL programs want a player they will get them unless the mom or dad is the coach or runs it. Its like NAIA D2 vs Major BCS basketball. If your kid is offered a spot on lets say the Union Bulldogs in Barbourville Ky which is a NAIA D2 team or UCONN who I think everyones knows about which would you take. Let me make this clear. UCONN= Premier Union= Royals. And thats no knock on either Union or the Royals, just sometimes you crazy AAU coaches have not figured out your role and or pecking order in the world of big time sports( I say that because soccer and volleyball are just as bad and I deal with those people to). Not one college coach cares about the AAU state tourney. Not one. They dont care about AAU nationals. Not one. They know this is watered down bad basketball. What they do care about is the kids that are on the high level circuits, either the boys or girls side. And the Royals are not that team, boys or girls. Over the top coaches and parents are whats wrong with sports today in High School, AAU and college( see transfers in college which is driven by crazy parents and some AAU coaches). So please lets stop talking this foolishness. I am sure all the players mentioned are good players. They are too young to be even having this discussion about. They are kids and are having fun. Dont ruin it for them. :thumb:

USJN if I am not mistaken is run by Mike Flynn who owns Blue Star Scouting and runs the Philly Belles EYBL teams. Big Nike guy or used to be. Sponsor Blue Star teams, which are basically step children to the EYBL teams. Met Flynn once, a wealth of knowledge. But Flynn knows the money is in bad basketball. So I guess welcome to USJN/Bluestar what ever team it is you are talking about. ( PS that shows you where you stand. I don't even know who you are).

Why would this be deleted? Igo I am pretty sure has always played for Premier. The other kids I don't know about. From where I sit there is no other AAU programs other than Premier now. Shining Stars has now joined( or that's what the posts say) and a couple smaller teams in Louisville, Legends and Shivley. Rest are just small time programs that play small tourneys or a very very watered down AAU schedule.

I think that's what most of these posters are saying about Creech. She is a good player for sure, but she has not played the competition that Boley or several of the other kids have. Do not have any idea who her high school coach is but Creech would never be allowed to take the amount of shots she takes on any other team in the USA, not one. Look at the youtube videos of her playing high school ball and don't even focus on her, just look at who she is playing. Plus she never passes to her team mates. Lucky the Jenkins coach does not take the heat from the other parents.....

Lots of trash talking in this thread from the Eastern faithful. Better hope your girls can back up the crazy parents talk on message boards. Mishler is best player on the team. Without her you would lose by 10-15 just like last year. Good luck to both teams but the jawing by parents sucks. :popcorn:

Was at this event. The Premier teams are very impressive across the board. One of my friends kid plays for the 14U Cann team and these kids can play! Several high D1 kids on this team alone. Kudos for Premier for what they have done for basketball on a national level for the kids in Kentucky.

I guess we see why some are not college recruiters........

Plus the word on the street is the roster will become thinner....

Boyle has a tough road to hoe to get to Rupp. They will have to bring a lot more than they did tonight to win the 12th.

Most cant. When was the last time a 8th 9th 10th region team won a state championship? Case closed.

I don't think anyone is fooled here. Sometimes things are hard to prove and cannot be proved but still don't make them untrue. Like the Aaron Hernandez murder case. No weapon, no eyewitnesses, no nothing but circumstantial evidence, but he is stone cold guilty. There is enough circumstantial evidence on this thread alone, if true to convict. Just saying......

Clay must have had the Wayne County refs(sarcasm) for their game. Has Clay ever lost a game fairly? I mean I know a few years back you all lost your assigning official when all those emails were exposed and to get on here and cry about official's. I would be ashamed.

Robert Jones and his lapdog Wade are using this strategy to try to delay a BUTT Kicking they are gonna receive in this game. They have basically scheduled every weak team in the state to get the record like it is now. They should have scheduled some girls teams to pad it even more. Im surprised they didn't.

This guy is a clown with that list. Most of the best coaches in Kentucky were not listed.

Southwestern on paper has some good players but as shown in the region last year and several games in season they are only as strong as their coach. Thats why I put them third. I figure they can finish third without any help. :sssh:

Who is top 5? Ill take a stab at it. 1. Mercer County 2. Lincoln Counry 3. Southwestern 4. Boyle County 5. Casey County

Boyle fans have never been know for their class.

If you want to play like years before then the rules need to be changed. The way the game is being called now is what the rules are.

I have screamed this for the past few years. Nothing good will come till a change in the leadership from AD up. The coaches try but with no support it won't work.
