The event has gotten too expensive to attend for average Kentuckians, plus the fact that you've now got every NCAA tournament game on television. I think high schools in general have seen a dip in attendance in regular season games due to the fact there are so many college and pro games on TV during the season. I have noticed that the cost of attending the Sweet 16 seems to have increased significantly in recent years. Not good when there are more reasons than ever not to attend.

The Reds may be lucky to win 70 games this year. The one thing they had the last couple of years, despite the lack of timely hitting at times, was a strong bullpen to go with a solid starting staff. With the top 3 from the bullpen out for an indefinite period of time and not a lot of hitting, you almost have to expect that the Reds may get buried the 2 months of the season. The big question is going to be how effective Broxton, Marshall and especially Chapman will be once they're off the DL.

The KHSAA standings sight is misleading because it includes regular season tournament wins against district opponents as district wins or losses along with the actual district games.
