Great poise by the lady Knights. After falling behind by double digits most of the night, they did not quit. Telling statistic was 36 of 42 from the free throw line. -
The next thing we know Cameron will be opening Al Capones vault. Oh, I'm sorry, that's already been done. This "revelation" is one of the most rediculous stunts I have ever heard. My first question is: Why would James Cameron even consider researching this subject, in the first place? What was his motivation? This fiasco does, in no way, lessen my Christian faith, but it does do irrepairable damage to my James Cameron faith.

I agree, wholeheartedly, supertrooper. I think the inside presence of Anaris Sickles is missed greatly. -
I hate to sound like an old fogey, but I think this behavior is typical of what I see from this generation of children. Many of them have become desensitized to violence, language, drugs, sex, etc. by the constant bombardment of movies, tv, video games and music. But behavior such as those described here should not be tolerated by any adult in charge. I don't know what school you're taliking about but I would be willing to bet thatr this behavior goes unchecked during the school hours as well. It's a sad commentary, my friend

I wonder how these parents would feel if the coaching staff showed up at the parents job on Monday morning and proceeded to vocally questions the way the parent was doing his/her job?

The biggest concern, in my opinion, is finding a QB. Justin Burke led them to a state championship in 2005. With the graduation of Tyler Hancock, I'm curious to see if the Knights have a QB that allows for the wide-open offense to which we have grown accustomed or if it'll be necessary to adopt a more conservative scheme.

Come On!!! Even with a win you complain about the refs. Unbelievable. Can't you give just a little credit to another team? -

Well, said, Claude Henry. But perhaps next time, to please the masses, the logical thing would be to only play 4 players or give one of the cheerleaders some PT -

scheat40...what did Coach Hicks say when he got the T. I was on the other side of the court and couldn't hear. Since you say it was weak, perhaps you could enlighten us as why. -

Just to make sure that everyone understands, according to the Herald Leader, the suspension was imposed by Lexington Catholic, not the KHSAA -

Scott County beat Huntington in Memorial Collisium by 4 and LexCath lost to Huntington in Memorial by 33, so, its obvious the Knights stand no chance in losing by 37. -

I was impressed with the Lady Tigers. It's one of the toughest challenges the Lady Knights have had this year. As far as officiating, I didn't see it the same way. I thought that LC turned up the pressure and this led to a lot of the fouls against CC as well as some turnovers. I hear this complaint of "refs getting out of control" (whatever that means) whenever a visiting team comes to central Kentucky. What you see is what you get in the 11th region. The refs always let the play get quite phisical and allow the players to generally decide the game. My observations are that this same type of officiating exhists in the State Tourny. This may be one of the reasons that the 11 region is generally very strong come tourny time. Having said that, I don't think the Lady Tigers are a team that the Lady Knights would wish to play again in Bowling Green -

What's the magic number that allows a team to maintain an appearance of "class"? Is 50 OK but 52 is classless? Frankly, I don't really care one way or another. I think it's showing just as much lack of respect for your opponent when you instruct your players to stand near mid court and let the clock run. If this were to happen I would surely expect the losing team to just set in a zone and allow the clock to run. -

The only way that HHS will know that Scott County is there is that the Highlanders will have to break a sweat. HHS 102, Scott County 77 -
Increased Minimum Wage - Who Does It Help?

The only people that will benefit from an increase in the minimum wage are the democratic politicians that vote for it. -

I agree that LCA has the talent to win against any team that I have seen this year. The fact that they're so young (starting a Freshman and three Sohpmores) could spell trouble for the Lady Knights not only later this year but for the next few years. By the way, I ran into one of the LCA players at the mall yesterday and she said the young lady that collapsed is doing fine. -

I can only surmise that LCA had more fouls called. Seriously, that is quite a dispariity. LCA did commit a lot of the fouls when LexCath either broke the press or were in the process of breaking the press. LCA pressed the entire game while LexCath played mostly half-cout defense for the second half. Perhaps someone with less bias than me saw it different. -
