4 weeks ago I personally asked a Ref working a Boyle game about this after hearing him yelling at player to put his mouthguard in. His reply was "We prefer they wear them but we don't enforce it". I was kinda shocked as that was a big time penalty back when I played.

Got to score to win. 4 straight games with 0 points and only 2 touchdowns on the season is not going to get it done.

Normally I would agree but last year it did not. Corbin was the second best team in 4A to Boyle and had to play them in the 3rd. round.

This weekend will be the +220 mile Bourbon Chase running relay. Starting at Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont Ky on Friday morning and finishing up in downtown Lexington on Saturday afternoon. It's mostly a 12 man team of 3 legs for each person but I'm on a 6 man ultra team that will consist of 6 legs for each runner. Each leg will be a average of 5-6 miles. This will be my 9th. Bourbon Chase and 2nd. Ultra. Lots of fun and looking forwarded to getting this started.

From what the RPI is today and if the teams advance to East round 3 I believe it would be. (4)Cov Cath at (1)Boyle (3)Corbin at (2)Ashland or Johnson Central. Higher teams prevail round 4 would be. (4)Ashland or Johnson Central at (1)Paducah Tilghman (3)Boyle at (2)Franklin These will change each week as we get towards the end of the season. Corbin at Johnson Central this weekend will be a big RPI boost for the winner and killer for the loser.

I'm the same way. I though Corbin earlier this year but thinking Johnson Central at home will be the deciding factor.

2021 State Championship against Johnson Central on Boyle's 1st. series of the game on their own 12 yard line on a 4th. and 1 Coach Haddix goes for it! Boyle got the firstdown and went on to score a TD to go up 7-0. Later I asked about his decision and he said if we couldn't get that first down we wasn't going to win the game. 2022 State Championship game against Corbin in the 4th. quarter Boyle is faced with a 4th. down. A first down pretty much seals the game. Boyle gets it and never gave Corbin the ball back.Happened last year. Last game with Russellville really hurts their RPI.Great Job Anderson County! Congratulations!Flag was for sideline warning on Boyle. Play stands 48-0 I asked the ref after the game.Big win for Scott County!Ouch! RPI loved NL.If true and I really hope that it is. WOW! Because Boyle's win was no fluke. St. Edward could not stop Quisenberry.
