LC has a lot of problems and the coaching staff knows that. From a LC perspective and not trying to upset anyone but Belfry right now IS 3 -4 TD's better than SC. Last year after the first game I said that SC would beat Belfry in the regular season and they did. This year Belfry is that much better than SC.

Guess that is one of the differences of seeing it on tv and not in person.

After the LC loss I came straight home and watched Belfry on WYMT against Corbin. Belfrys defense is extremely quick as usual but Corbin didnt overall impress me. Ranked too high in the preseason Top 10.

I will take Russell by 2 TD's.

Lets hear it. Belfry comes off a big win against Corbin and LC comes off of hard fought loss against Dawson Bryant. I will give my prediction later in the week and closer to game time.

If Lawrence County can come out and play with as much heart as they did in the 2nd half and play loose on offense then LCHS can very well beat Belfry. Not saying they will but it will give them a good chance.

GREAT GAME!!!!!!!! If Lawrence County comes out and plays the entire game like they played in the 2nd half they beat Coal Grove. Coal Grove is a power running team and good luck to them the rest of the way. On to Belfry for Lawrence County.

LCHS is going to have trouble with big power running teams. Coal Grove brings a 270lb. blocking back, a huge line and a talented backfield. Coal Grove 28 LCHS 14 :(

For some reason this doesnt surprise me at all.

Ok I was at the scrimmge today but I just wanted to see if anyone else had a view of what they saw. LC and Montgomery played the 1st stringers until halftime and the halftime score was MC 10 LC 7 3rd and 4th quarters which featured all the JV and Freshmen teams and LC dominated both quarters. Boone Goldsmith threw 2 INT but made some good decision with the ball when he went through his reads. Coty Roberts scored on a 64 yard scamper for LC only touchdown before the half. MC scored from about 9 yards out if I can remember correctly. Then got the ball about 2 series later and kicked a field goal. 10-7 MC lead at half and that was it for the Varsity. As I said earler, LC looked good on defense and showed signs of being able to score offensively. Now on to Coal Grove and Good Luck to Montgomery the rest of the way!!

Lawrence needs to work on their running game and the WR's need to look the ball in and make sure that they make the catch first of all.

I just want to see great things happen for this program and all it needs is some hardwork and heart. We will see how the next couple of weeks ago for LC.

The line for LC needs a lot of work and if they can have some holes for the RB to run through and the WR can catch the ball consistently then look for great things from LC. If those things cant happen then they will have another long season.
