I agree here. An external hire is the best move. This is the one chance for LC to take a great step forward and re-dedicate the football program or take a HUGE step back with a bad and unpopular hire. We shall see what happens.

I dont think the majority of the problem were his coaching but the way certain things were ran. I have known about this for a while and just refused to post it but now that its out and in the open I dont care to comment on it. I think an external hire is the best thing for LC right at this point. I have heard some very interesting names possibly being interested in the job and no Chuke isnt coming back. LOL

I was told that LC and their coaching staff was going to have some surprises for BC. Guess not!! The whole camo ideas was bizarre nonetheless. Congrats to BC and that fight at the end of the game was simply embarrassing. Have to try again next fall. GO DAWGS!!

Honestly, I have seen all three teams play and it is that far between 1 and 2.

As a true LC fan who bleeds red and black I can sit here and honestly say I have no idea whats going on with this team and what the problems are.

This is what I was exactly thinking.

Senior Night for LC. Both teams coming off hard fought losses, LC to Russell and Rowan to Sheldon Clark. Big district match-up here. What do you say?

From last night I realized that Russell is just one of those teams that is fundamentally sound and you cant make mistakes against them. Thats what killed LC last night. Too many mistakes against a sound football team will get you beat everytime. On the other hand, after seeing Sheldon Clark, Prestonsburg, Belfry and Russell now all play in person, I still believe that none of these teams mentioned are even 3 TD's close to Belfry. Belfry is that good this year. I dont see them getting beat until maybe the State Finals.

This win was big because it was at home and it was a district game but I think the biggest thing that LC can take away from this is that it was a HUGE and I mean HUGE morale booster. Coach Goldsmith got an " Unsportsmanlike Conduct " for getting in the referee's ear and staying there until he was done. Thats the FIRST TIME I have ever seen that and personally, I loved seeing that kind of fire from him. Hope to see it more often.
