Euton interview on 1570AM.

I just didnt know that if when Coach Gillespie was visiting Patterson if he just didnt drive across the bridge and say Hello to Euton. My way of thinking is that both are highly rated and live very close to each other. Either way, I am just glad both are going to be Cats.

I know Euton was and is a HUGE UK fan but I wonder at all if Patterson coming to UK affected him at all? Anyone know if Pat and Euton talk at all?

Back in the day Lawrence County was a good coaching job. Lately, I like Belfry and Breathitt around here locally. Russell has to be thrown into the mix too.

Had a great time and it was a real defensive battle. Cant wait for next year.

I agree, I always did love watching Breathitt and their offense. We should have an offense similiar to Texas Tech and Florida, a mix of both.

Yeah I know what they did last year but I am talking about this upcoming fall. They have changed their offensive sets and schemes.

I am not talking about stats, I am just talking about the schemes. Look for LC to do a lot of shotgun and 3-4 wide.

Look for Lawrence and Breathitt to have the same offense this fall.

Lawrence County has to have one of, if not the toughest schedule in the mountains.

When I was younger I had many coaches that gave me a lot to live by. I still go by these thoughts and teachings. I try to now give them back to my players during every practice. I want to be someone that a kid years from now can say " that coach taught me how to be a good man and how to respect others." I dont curse or scream at my players, I think you can get more out of them just by calmly looking at them in the eye and showing them instead of getting in their head and keeping them scared of you the entire time to where they cant enjoy the game they are playing. Coach Goldsmith (LCHS ) has always been really supportive of the youth league coaches and is always willing to help with anything. So I would say that he would be the high school football coach that helps me more than anyone.

So is Spring practice starting for anyone tomorrow?

The sound of those cleats hitting that hard concrete and then onto the track is something I love to hear. The look the players get and that sound make LC football something great.

Amen!!! Watching JC play this past year reminded me of the LC 97 and 99 teams.:thumb: :banana:
