Blake Preece, former LC football player and alumni has been brought on board the Lawrence County coaching staff and has been given the reigns to the offensive side of the ball from what I have been told. Preece who was a stand out football player for LC during the 90's helped coach Lexington Catholic to a state championship. Expect some new looks from LC next fall and I personally cant wait to see what he has in the bag for next year. Welcome Back home and good luck!! :thumb:

I love keeping secrets and I can say that it isnt a previous coach mention earlier in this thread.

Games 4,5,6 are ones I can see being a real battle and Prestonsburg could get beat in any of those games.

Any given Friday any team can be beaten. Thats all I am saying. Nothing against the Prestonsburg program, its just that I think they will have a hard time going undefeated. Anything is possible.

P'Burg will have a great team but I dont think that they will be undefeated.

Looks good to me. With LC being in the district with Greenup, Rowan and Boyd, who would be considered the pre-season district favorite for this district next year?

Yes this coach knows what he is doing and I have talked to him many times about his philosophy on offense and just to say from talking to him is that he knows what he is doing on every play and he can STICK it in the endzone.:thumb:

Football will be on us before we know it. I heard that LC got a new coach on the coaching staff that is suppose to me a genius with the offensive side of the ball. Anyone else heard this?

I know that Russell and Prestonsburg, Belfry are on there for next fall.

Amen, with only 4 district games now it will make the coaching staff schedule up to 6 non-district games and I thnk Raceland and Russell should be back on there. Love going down into Greenup County and playing football. Good times all around. The one thing that I cant wait to happen is for LC to go on a roll again and for everyone around the region say " Oh no, Lawrence County is back !". Good times everyone!!!!:thumb:

I cant wait for LC football to get on a roll again. It is some of the best times to be in Louisa when the LCHS football team is rolling and playing well. Love being a Bulldog and staying involved with the program even though I graduated years ago. GO DAWGS!!!!

LC has a bunch of talent up there at the high school and its just a matter of getting all the boys out to play and believing in what they are doing. Things will be better for them next fall and I will almost bet my reputation on it that LC will surprise a lot of people.

HH blew out Henry Clay in both halves. It was the OJ Mayo and Patrick Patterson show from the start till the end. No real compeition for HH. Halftime the score was HH 60 HC 37.

Trust me I have great sources and take my words as truth. LC will be just fine with the hands they are in now.

Goldsmith is staying, Chuke isnt coming back. Changes are being made. Thats all I will ever say till kickoff next fall.
