Senior Night for LC. Both teams coming off hard fought losses, LC to Russell and Rowan to Sheldon Clark. Big district match-up here. What do you say?

I like the Bulldogs in this one. I have said from the beginning that LC is the best team in this district. And with this one at the Pound and it being senior night for LC, I look for them to roll through this one with ease. My prediction:

Lawrence Co.: 34

Rowan Co.: 20

I can see L.C. letting it all go and winning 56-12.

This is what I was exactly thinking.

Lawrence County BIG (at least 3td's)

Rowan is a ball control team. So if LC can score when they have the ball then they will win big. If not, it will go down to the wire.

Hopefully for once this season a ball bounces LC's way. In Week One against Coal Grove a LC defender tipped a pass then it fell into a CG players hands for a TD. Then against Boyd a latteral was picked up by LC but called a incomplete pass, then this past week a LC defender hits a Russell RB pops the ball loose and then another Russell player picks it up and scores.

Sooner or Later the ball has to bounce their way and I think this week would be perfect for the LC Seniors who have stuck it out over their High School careers.

And for my cousin Coty Roberts " Keep running hard with alot of Heart, and showing the younger players what LC is all about. You and the other seniors define the pride of Lawrence County Football. "

So Senior Night at Lawrence County they will win:

LC 34

RC 21

Do not take Rowan County to lightly, they have some good skill players, and a big offensive line, though their defense can give up the big play, they will not quit and will battle you to the end.

Lawrence will play well and win this one.

Lawrence 35

Rowan 14

You are absolutely correct about the players than Rowan has. The main problem that the team has is the offensive coordinator is like a ball in high weeds.

LC has been improving every week and they will win this Friday. :ylsuper:

This is Lawrence Co. senior night and I for one would like to take the time to just say thank you senior's for staying with the program when so many of your class mates either quit or transfered to another school . I remember when you all was in middle school and they was over forty some kids on that team but now they are just Eleven of you it would have been easy to leave or just quit but I am so glad you all stayed and worked so hard on trying to get this program back to were it use to be and I think in the future this class will be remembered as the one that got it turned around so once agian thank you senior's
