Of the two streams the Lake Cumberland Sports stream is better. IMO

I wouldn’t go as far as you are that the top 5A teams don’t have quality wins but I do agree with your overall sentiment. I think that’s what makes 5A so exciting this year that you have a lot of question marks going into the playoffs. Looks to be an exciting November in 5A.

Pulaski County has the same team from last year that ran the clock on everyone in their district with about the same amount of numbers. South's best player from last year went to Corbin. Unless something has drastically changed I expect a similar result.

South Laurel has not played a great schedule. In comparison, Pulaski's opponents are 24-11 compared to South's opponents who are 15-19.

Anderson County is not beating Atherton.

That was in a scrimmage that in any change of possession the ball got moved back to the 20 yard line. Not saying they aren’t good but Athertons SOS has been weak. Will prove themselves against Manual.

Pulaski averages 200 yards a game on the ground and has a trio of backs in Brock Ford and Carrier. I wouldn’t say they air it out.

The final four ended up being Woodford Co, Pulaski Co, Zika Academy and Collins.

Pulaski has picked up Henderson for Week 1. Game will be at Henderson

South Warren will be at home on the 26th. They are still looking for a Week 1 game.

Haddix announced on the listserv that they needed an assistant football coach/strength coach. He did the same thing when his DC left last year. I believe Arnett will be announced.

I have heard it from multiple people.

Hawkins will be announced as the new Head Coach of Henry Clay.

If this is real, I know Boyle County Assistant Coach that is from around that area. Would he come back?

Rumors in Somerset are that Southwestern will be opening up.

Travel is an issue any way you spin it. LCA had to travel to Mayfield a few years ago and now Beechwood will probably have to travel Mayfield this year. I think it is more detrimental to some teams to have a losing record to play in the playoffs only to get beat by 50 but I also think a system could be set up that these teams could end in a high note or at least be competitive in their post season play

I think this is a great idea. I do believe the RPI needs to be adjusted to make it a better system but if we are going to use the RPI then we need to use it imo. This allows teams to also get more work in and to go out on a high note. I think regardless of what tournament you are in kids will want to play if they have a chance.
