I wouldn’t go as far as you are that the top 5A teams don’t have quality wins but I do agree with your overall sentiment. I think that’s what makes 5A so exciting this year that you have a lot of question marks going into the playoffs. Looks to be an exciting November in 5A.

Pulaski County has the same team from last year that ran the clock on everyone in their district with about the same amount of numbers. South's best player from last year went to Corbin. Unless something has drastically changed I expect a similar result.

South Laurel has not played a great schedule. In comparison, Pulaski's opponents are 24-11 compared to South's opponents who are 15-19.

Anderson County is not beating Atherton.

That was in a scrimmage that in any change of possession the ball got moved back to the 20 yard line. Not saying they aren’t good but Athertons SOS has been weak. Will prove themselves against Manual.

Pulaski averages 200 yards a game on the ground and has a trio of backs in Brock Ford and Carrier. I wouldn’t say they air it out.

The final four ended up being Woodford Co, Pulaski Co, Zika Academy and Collins.

Pulaski has picked up Henderson for Week 1. Game will be at Henderson
