  1. I'm going with a 42-14 type of game and maybe a running clock for 3 games in a row.
  2. I would say that he is out for the year is a little premature at this stage in the game. He was carted off the field with a right knee/leg injury. He is scheduled for a MRI tomorrow, hope he gets some good news. I just think it's kinda in bad taste to go ahead and start saying out for the year right now just my opinion though. He got hurt in the North Laurel game last year as well and our backup QB Will Adams came in and led the Maroons to a easy win against Southwestern the following week and I fully expect the same this year. PC 45 SW 7
  3. Yes it was Pulaski's starting QB Zak Anderson. He was having a monster night and just a great player making a great play. Prayers for him and here's to hoping he gets to finish his Senior year.
  4. A lot of built up frustrations from the district foe is about to be taken out on SW! NL 42 SW 7
  5. The #9 ranked team is about to run the clock on one of the Laurels Friday night...
  6. Pulaski 42 South Laurel 14 SL scores a late TD on the Pulaski littles after the clock is running.
  7. Pulaski just not a good football team right now. This game feels like it should be a lot worse than it is. I'm hoping they can make some adjustments and at least put up a fight in the second half but I'm afraid it's going to get ugly quick in the 3rd quarter.
  8. I think we will get a read on Pulaski after the next 2 weeks if they are a contender or pretender. Going to Johnson Central is never a easy task, and then South Warren at home. I think if they beat JC and keep it close with South then I'm feeling like they belong in the conversation, if they lose to JC and get blown out by South then they won't have a chance of going to Kroger field imo.
  9. Pulaski has just enough air attack to squeak out a big win on the road. Pulaski 28 JC 21
  10. Running clock early in this one. Belfry 45 Sw 7
  11. I guess that's what sucks about getting old. I lost a year, my wife said it's about time to turn me out to pasture....
  12. He is a stud for sure, if he is better than Hope or as good I'm looking forward to watching him play, I love watching great players play the game. Last year even with the twins on the field Pulaski moved the ball pretty well against Corbin so I guess I was just basing my opinion in what I saw then against watching the Hope kid play. But I still doubt they can show much more than what Pulaski has seen thus far just my opinion.
  13. I don't know that they can show them much more than they have seen last night. I don't think they have a Josiah Hope roaming the D Lines and I'm pretty sure Bryan Station and North Harding probably would hold a speed advantage over Corbin. If the Corbin defense shows up that allowed North Laurel to bully them on the ground in the second half they will not be in a favorable position at the end of the night. As far as Pulaski being a throwing team that's probably the farthest thing from what they are and they wanna be all you have to do is watch and they will live and die this season by the rushing attack. Needless to say it will be another quality opponent for the Maroons and one I know they will be fired up for being the first home game of the season. Pulaski 35 Corbin 21
  14. The 2 starting guards are seniors, Colton Cain and Brody Johnson. The starting O line against Bryan Station was 4 sophomores and 1 junior.
  15. I know this post will get took wrong by some but I'm going to ask anyway... South Warren beat Bryan Station by a score of 56-35 a +21 scoring difference Pulaski beat Bryan Station by a score of 49-27 a +22 scoring difference. South Warren won at Bryan Station, while Pulaski won on a neutral field. The old argument you can't compare schedules will come in effect here I'm sure but I'm going to ask anyway, how big of a favorite will South Warren be over Pulaski when they play in week 6 I think it is. Pulaski was without their 2 senior starting guards and their starting TE/DE Saturday when they played Bryan Station, was South Warren out anyone in the first game? I watched the South Warren and Bryan Station game and was really impressed with South Warren, I watched Pulaski play Bryan Station and came away feeling a lot better about Pulaski's chances throughout the rest of the year. The South Warren win over Manual is the reason I still think South Warren beats Pulaski when they play but I think it will be a great game, AS long as Pulaski stays healthy. Now of you have made it this far I appreciate the time you took to read a lengthy post and now will sit back and take all the constructive criticism I get for this post lol.
  16. Crazy right? South Laurel losing one of their best wr to a broken collar bone may hurt them in the long run but I still think they finish 2nd, and after the showing NL had against Corbin I can definitely see them beating SW as well. Foley may pull a rabbit out of a hat and beat everyone in the district as well lol, since his arrival he has won district 6 times and got 2nd in the district his other 2 years. I'm still leaning Pulaski, SL, NL, SW though,
  17. Kamani Barbour plays for Bryan Station not Pulaski, you may be referring to Kasen Brock or Winston Ford from Pulaski as they both line up in the backfield and wr from time to time
  18. Unfortunately that's the Pulaski County way, we hardly ever dressed more than 50. This year the varsity team fields 39 kids and 54 I think total including JV. I have stated multiple times depth will be this teams downfall imo, just hard to compete against the best of the best with 80 percent of your players playing both ways.
  19. I thought Pulaski's depth or lack thereof would come into play in this game with it being at 5 pm and on the warmer side. The coaching staff done a great job of adjusting at halftime and came out in the second half and took control of the game. Bryan Station I thought was a great test for us, now onto North Hardin where our offensive line will get tested like they never have imo, the good news for Pulaski is there's a chance of getting both their starting guards back next week.
  20. Southwestern could possibly finish 4th in the district this year, they are definitely in rebuilding mode. Somerset has a few good pieces and will go as far as Hughes takes them. With that being said I think Southwestern wins by a couple scores. SW 28 Bunnies 17
  21. Pulaski still has some kinks to work out on offense, their defense set them up with several short fields against Henderson as well as a scoop and score. I think Pulaski wins but not a blowout. Pulaski 35 BS 21
  22. Definitely the right move for both parties. Hines walked into a great situation at South Laurel with the system he likes to run. Fresh starts are often times seen as a mistake by one or both sides but in all reality sometimes that's what it takes to light a fire under both sides. I called the South Laurel upset on BGR with a score of 35-14, and I work with several Jumper fans and they all thought I was crazy. South will finish second in the district as long as they don't lose anymore key pieces, unfortunately last night one of their best receivers and senior broke his collar bone again and will likely be done for the year.
