The Maroons got a much needed bye week this past week. They are coming off two straight losses, but those were against 4A power Johnson Central and 6A power South Warren. Kasen Brock leads the way on the ground, Zak Anderson does it through the air, and Cohen Finley makes it all happen all over the field. He's their swiss army knife.

South Laurel makes the road trip to a place where Coach Hines is very familiar. It's his first trip back to PC since leaving the school for South Laurel. Senior QB Mason Griffin is having a great season and currently has the Cards undefeated on the year. He's thrown for 1800 yards, 20 TDs, and only 1 INT.

Can South Laurel stay around long enough to pull off the upset? Or do the maroons ruin Coach Hines first trip back?

Pulaski 42

South Laurel 14

SL scores a late TD on the Pulaski littles after the clock is running.

Pulaski Co. 49-28.

Been looking forward to this one for weeks. It's homecoming for John Hines and his Cardinals are soaring.

Pulaski has been vulnerable on the back end and SL is coming in with both barrels blazing.

The bye week has allowed the Maroons an opportunity to recalibrate and get in an extra week's prep for South. I think that plays to Pulaski's advantage. I envision the offensive front of the Maroons dictating the outcome more than anything else.

I do think South will hang around a while, but Pulaski ultimately prevails by 2-3 scores.

I believe SOS will show up here for the Maroons.

I'll definitely be checking in on this game tonight.

Kasen Brock took a direct snap at the goal line and broke the plane to put Pulaski on the board first.

Zak Anderson heaves one from midfield into double coverage... receiver goes up and gets it for a touchdown. Sandlot football at its finest.

Anderson runs through contact for another Pulaski touchdown.

21-0 now...better check to see if the clock has its running shoes ready.

Pulaski D just a step ahead of SL Offense.

SL needs to wake up offensively, or it's going to be a short night.

Yup! Need to just keep chipping away. They can't take penalties or big losses and get behind the chains.
