  1. Pulaski 35 JC 0 ( maybe a late score on the jv team but still thinking a goose egg)
  2. What a game! The atmosphere and facilities is second to none! Pulaski may not win pretty but they win nonetheless. Johnson Central comes to town next Friday in what maybe a trap game after they seem to be having a down year and South Warren looming the week after.
  3. Barn burner! PC 28 Hounds 20
  4. The Maroons played LCA at the Boyle County Rebel Bowl, not really a home game more of a neutral site I would say lol. Pulaski 28 NH 7
  5. I would have felt a lot better about it if we would have went in at Half up 2 scores but I think Pulaski will still control the ball enough in the second half to get the win.
  6. Pulaski is blessed to have one of the best strength and conditioning coaches in Ky imo. I think that will be a big factor and another reason I'll stay with my prediction of a PC win.
  7. I'll take Pulaski by a couple of scores. I know the scoreboard was 41-16 but it was 41-3 in the 3rd quarter with the JV giving up the last couple TD. Pulaski's defense looked as impressive as the offense imo. LCA is a different animal than Henderson and I expect it to be close but a 5 pm kickoff with temps close to 90 I expect Pulaski size up front to wear down the LCA defensie unit. Conditioning will play a major factor in this and I expect a lot of cramps. Pulaski 26 ( extra points was a adventure in week 1) LCA 14
  8. Great preview! I think this will be a pretty good game early with Pulaski pulling away late 2nd quarter on. Pulaski 35 Henderson 14
  9. I'd still take a Dudley coached team over every team on the schedule, the cupboards are never bare in Bell Co. I don't know a lot about Campbellsville so maybe that will be a decent game but honestly don't see a lot of competition elsewhere on the schedule besides the Pulaski game which I believe will be their only loss.
  10. Undefeated until the last game of the year...
  11. Coach Roberts has already made some exceptional additions to the staff since taking over. Coach Mobley returned, Added Gordy Prather as the strength and conditioning coach which imo was a absolute homerun hire that will absolutely pay off big time, also Coach Siler returns to Coach DB's and he is a great coach that the kids absolutely love!
  12. My My son is on the team and this morning wasn't easy on the kids or Coach Burns. Like I told him when opportunity knocks in life you either open the door and leave it shut, Mercer came and knocked with a 10lb sledge hammer and offered Coach Burns a crazy good offer that he couldn't turn down.
  13. Burns out at Pulaski. Do they hire within this late in the game or throw a hail mary and try to hit a home run
  14. If what I heard tonight becomes reality one of the top teams in 5A will be coach searching soon, I hope for the kids sake it's not though.
  15. Lol North doesn't near have enough returning to keep Pualski from putting a running clock on them again.
  16. I know offensive lineman usually don't get any love in the Mr. Football race but could Brady Hull sneak in there on the list?
  17. I would think Pulaski would have to be considered a top 5 team entering 5A next year with what they have returning. The core of their offensive line all return along with a triple threat rushing attack in Brock, Adams, and Ford. I think they will come out of the east again and play at Kroger Field for a second straight year but just a bias opinion.
  18. Well deserved Carter and Austyn both are great kids they have a great attitude not only on the field but off it as well, my son got to become really good friends with them from the FBU stuff and if we ever attend a Somerset event they always search either out lol. From a rivalry stand point I would have loved to seen them on the other side of highway 80 playing football lol but I'll be a fan of them no matter where they play.
  19. Carter Lawless from Meece was also on the roster and received a invite to the UA Freshman All American Game next year as well, I think only 4 others from this week received invites to the Freshman All American game.
  20. I would say that was pretty comparable to the predictions from last week when Pulaski played Atherton. I'm just glad the games are played on the field and not on a forum.
  21. I guess I'm lost then so please enlighten me what you all are talking about.
  22. Just curious on what home field advantage that Pulaski may have had over Atheron? The penalties was almost identical for the game Atherton was penalized for 95 yards and Pulaski was penalized for 90 yards. If it wasn't for the bone headed personal foul by the Arherton player on Pulaski's QB when he scored the last TD then Pulaski would have been penalized more. The Atherton coach stayed on the field and absolutely influenced more calls than anything the Pulaski coaching staff did. Anyone that wants to rewatch the game it's still up on Lake Cumberland Sports Facebook page.
  23. Great season for Atherton! Pulaski came out and dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I heard all week that Pulaski was going to line up in heavy sets and try to control the game and time of possession and that was what set the tone for the game. Pulaski found it's defensive identity in the second half of the Bell Co game and they have been a different unit ever since, aggressive and I love it. Congrats Maroons and good luck next weekend!
