Josh Roberts named Head Football Coach at Pulaski County

PC promotes from within. Roberts called the O last two years for Burns. He had called the defense for Hines. He also had a lot of time down at the middle school. Good guy that’s paid his dues. Congrats to Coach Roberts!

For the sake of continuity and maximizing this year's potential, this was probably the right move.

This may end up being the right move, period. Congratulations to Coach Roberts!

I heard this news last night, while speaking to an inside source. He's been handed the keys to a Mercedes, let's see how well he can handle it.

I like this hire a lot. Coach Roberts has paid his dues and been a big part of PC success.

It is so hard to hire & keep good assistants. Knowing you can become the head coach at a school helps to make it more attractive for aspiring head coaches.

I think that Pulaski made the right choice keeping the hire internal based on recent successes, especially if he had familiarity to all that was mentioned. This was less risky than hiring externally by far in my opinion. I am glad for them that this situation worked out for them the way that it did.

Coach Roberts has already made some exceptional additions to the staff since taking over. Coach Mobley returned, Added Gordy Prather as the strength and conditioning coach which imo was a absolute homerun hire that will absolutely pay off big time, also Coach Siler returns to Coach DB's and he is a great coach that the kids absolutely love!
