Battle of the unbeatens!

PC enters this one rolling. They have two clock runner wins over Henderson and the latest a thumping on North Hardin, then a stingy win over LCA 7-0. Cohen Finley does it all for the maroons defensively, and an offense they're solid up front with Kasen Brock doing what he does.

The Redhounds are also 3-0, the latest a somewhat strange 26-18 win over Bryan Station where they may not have won by as much as expected. Westmoreland is now cleared and made his debut which gives the hounds weapons galore on the outside.

This should be one of the games of the week. Who do we like?

I'll take Pulaski in a very close game.

I gotta stick with Corbin 28-21 in a tight one but can go either way.

Bump

Corbin was down to North Laurel by one in the third, and in a tight one with Bryan Station throughout. Corbin has solid skill but I believe their line may be a sign of weakness right now. If that's so, then I believe Pulaski can dominate the trenches because that's their strength. Give me Pulaski 42-21.

Malachi Brown vs. Brady Hull will be worth the price of admission.

Last year's game was a battle, with Pulaski's brutes moving the ball effectively on the ground and propelling the Maroons to victory.

This year looks like another coin flip, but I'm siding with the Hounds at home. I think their team speed wins out this time.

C vs. 🏴‍☠️

Corbin leads the all-time series 8-3. They've met nine times in the last twelve years. It's a game both sides benefit from, and with the relatively close proximity, I don't see a reason to end the series anytime soon. Hopefully the last decade is the beginning of what could blossom into a great rivalry.

I believe that Pulaski will have a hard time stopping Sammons passing attack and I believe that there is one receiver for Corbin that got eligible this week that could be a huge asset to the team. I do however think that Pulaski wins this game because they are better at the line of scrimmage. But if they allow those DEs to get penetration it could be a tough way to go for Pulaski. I'd love to watch this one and see Hull vs. Brown matchup.
