I know some states are going to the shot clock. How much longer until Kentucky adopts?

How long until they take Coach Woods name off of the floor or the gym?

I have seen Pulaski play twice now. Fraley seems to be moving better than any point I seen him last year. I think they will only get better as season goes on. They go through long stretches of games without being able to score. After the first quarter Pulaski took Phillips out of the game. I think he only scored 3 points after first quarter.

Anytime Coach Jackson has a good point guard he has a chance to win. They will control the pace of the game and seem to always make big shots when needed.

I know in the past Pulaski, Lincoln, and Wayne seem to have very good middle school programs. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some talented freshmen who are just having to sit behind some older guys.

I understand what you’re saying, but I believe we need to wait for a larger sample size (after Christmas) to compare strength of schedule. Mercer has played two district games already (burgin and Trinity) who definitely hurt their sos. They can’t be blamed for who is in their district.

Any time you can go on the road to Knox and win by 9 is a good win! Seems like the young Cardinals are getting off to a competitive start!

Fun game to watch! There were lots of fouls called, and Pulaski only played seven despite foul trouble. I watched on Maroon Sports Network.. those guys are something else!

Is Grundy a football player? I knew his brother used to play, but never knew if he did or not. Either way, I’d say Coach Young was happy being in a competitive game without several contributors. Young does a great job, and he’ll have his Jumpers in contention by years end.

Any word if this game is still happening with Pulaski being out of school today?

Based off the pre season it seems Somerset has surprised some people. There football guys have just now entered the equation, but I’m looking forward to see how they measure up with Mercer to start the year.

Wow. I hate this for Boyle. Seems like something that may have been planned all along or really weird timing one.
