This is actually my second time making this thread. These teams were supposed September 13th but terrible circumstances cancelled the game. Thankfully, both teams had week 11 open and it worked out.

Pulaski comes into this one fresh off a win over crosstown rival Southwestern. It was their first win over them since 2020, and to make things sweeter it was a clock runner. The game was never really close, and Pulaski had their way on both sides of the ball. Freshman QB Will Adams got the start while Zak Anderson had to sit this one out, and in his second start he had a great game again going 2-0 as a starter at QB. Kasen Brock continued to shine and that big OL moved bodies.

Corbin also comes in this one with a 49-3 win over PCC and now sit at 8-1. Their lone L this season was at the hands of Frederick Douglass. After a shootout with Johnson Central, 56-51, it seems their defense has settled in by only allowing 3 points the last three games. We will see if that is in part to the schedule or improvement. Malachi Brown, a transfer from West Virginia, has gotten eligible and he has been a boost on the DL.

This is a big game for RPI and for confidence going into the playoffs. Who takes the cake in this big time matchup?

I think this will be a interesting game.

Pulaski's rushing attack vs Corbin's rush defense

Corbin's air attack vs Pulaski's pass defense

I'm going to say a toss up with whoever has the last possession winning the game

Corbin 28-21.

It almost seems that Zac Anderson's status is a state secret.  Does anyone know if he'll be ready for Corbin?  There was discussion on the broadcast the other night that his injury was more serious than previously thought and might impact his basketball season.

From my understanding he will be out this week, and continue with therapy and will be reevaluated next week. Now that's strictly what I was told but not sure either way.

Thanks.  What was the nature of his injury?

This is a potential sleeper pick for game of the week.

Elam's in a groove right now. I think he keeps the Hounds in front of a surging, but shorthanded, Pulaski squad.

I would like to see this one.  I just think Corbin stops Pulaski more than Pulaski is able to stop Corbin.  Could be a rock fight though.

Should be a good high school football game with a playoff atmosphere. We will have the call on LakeCumberlandSports.com beginning around 7:00 p.m.

Join Chris Stayton and Mike Kerr on the call!

Will this cost $?

I mean, it looks free, but you never know for sure.

If the freshman QB leads the Maroons to victory tonight, then Coach Burns may have a legit decision to make about his quarter back in the coming weeks.

Corbin 7-0 with 2:12 left in 1st quarter.

This is going to get ugly quickly. Pulaski County simply can't cover the pass.
