So I was looking up some individual stats, and Josh Flood has been looked over on Defense. Don’t hear his name as much as some of the others, I don’t know much about what kind of player or size he is. Stats are impressive and I look forward to seeing him this weekend.

I think he gets another year or 2 leeway. Unless a crazy losing season happens with this team that is supposed to be “the team”. Who knows, they still could… Sounds as if things are better in the Fort than they were but not as cozy as some thought it would be. Also, I’m not sure the son is the heir apparent as of now.

I would think he’d be “told” he needed the JV reps not “asked. “

Who were the JV and FRosh QBs?

Reeves is a work horse. Way to go young man tonight. He’s enjoyable to watch.

Braylon Miller really stood out to me tonight. I know he’s not a huge guy but he was a machine tonight for CCH.

Exactly, We were saying all our local fans need to do the “SEC SEC SEC” chant at all local game chanting “NKY NKY NKY” ?

I was actually talking about this with someone today. Beechwood, CCH and Highlands all winning a State Championship this year would be amazing!

I totally agree 100% about Pitzer. I’m not sure why he doesn’t get the love or recognition that other QBs in NKY receive? (no means bashing Benke as he’s a heck of a player and one of NKYs best but Pitz seems smoother/poised)

How do they determine they are Middle Schoolers? Does the rule apply to visiting kids too?

I was not meaning it does not happen at those 2 school, absolutely any HS in the state has crazy kids/fans. I tend to end up at those 3 schools the most and was just meaning Dixie stands out a little more, but I really do think the location and busy businesses around them lead to more kids hanging out and being dropped off bc they have an easy place to walk to after the game.

Agree that the enforcement seems crazy to me. Lot's of Middle Schoolers are bigger and look more like High Schoolers than the actual High Schoolers.

Definitely needed at some schools. I’ve seen some crazy behavior at Dixie games the past few years that I don’t seem to see at Highlands or CCH. And kids roaming up and down the strip near Dixie after games is bad too.

Cch/Highlands Always an intense night in Ft. Thomas.

Conditioning in this heat will play a huge factor in this game too. Which team is able to deal without cramps, overheating, dizziness etc. just may come out the winner.

This is not the case the last couple of years. This year the only CCH team playing in the NKYFL league is the 7th/8th gr “B” Combo team. They have 7-8 teams in the GCYL grades 3-8. Some play up and some are combo teams. I know the 7th gr “A” team is playing up in the 8th gr Varsity, almond w the 8th grade team. Strong #s for the youth Colonels!

I cannot wait for this one! Going to try to make it. Heard today Benke, Class and a few were serious middle school basketball rivals against Pitzer, Reeves and their St. Pius crew. That is a was love/hate but respect for each other, but they were always the 2 top teams in heated battles.

CCH Colonels middle school 6th grade team was phenomenal last 2 years. They are in the GCYL playing Elder & Cincy Moeller kids. Won the whole thing 2 yrs ago and last year made a run at Rocky Top National Championship 2 yrs and almost won that. Their in 7th grade this year and the team is playing up in the 8th gr varsity this year.
