Guy is probably just trying to climb the ladder. Not everyone can stay at one place for 10-15 years and hope a coach retires, and the get the head set from them. A normal lifespan of a head coach is like 7 years. So if you come sometime in the middle. You’re gonna have to shift around. Also if you hitch your saddle to a dead horse ( Tates Creek) you’re not around to long.

A strong superintendent will make sure a great coach will be hired. Period. That’s why you hire guys like him.

I’d call Coach Buchanan, you always hire the opposite of what coach you had before. He’s one of the best people I’ve met.

I’d say 3-7 to 5-5 at best. Still the worst District in 5a.

Should be about 5-5. That is hands down the worst district in 5a.

Maze was a hell of a ball player at Morehead. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.
