I have a semi interesting story about the Lakeland High Qb. His dad is from Morehead,Ky I grew up watching him play Basketball, in Hs. His dad was Buddy Smith. Long story short. The kid is a beast. Many D1 offers. Long Story short. The dad passed away during the height of Covid. He has another older son who plays LB for the U. Just an interesting tidbit though some of you may enjoy.

I was kind of thinking more current coaches.

Who’s is the best coach in the state to NOT win a state Championship? I expect some interesting answers. Have they not won one due to talent cycles? Just plain luck? Doesn’t mean that they won’t win one. It’s just super hard to win one.

Ran like scalded dogs 1) would not play next day @ 7pm I’m Woodford 2) would not play at Mercer the Next Day. 3) would only play the bowl game next day at SK. Who in gods green earth would anyone give up a home game? 4) SK said they could not cancel a JV game. so yes they dodged a bullet.

Massey had this one at 88% for Warren. Talent all over the field. I think looked like they had not been punched in the mouth before. I’d West Jess had any D, the last 3 years they would have been formable. I’ve seen them a few times looks like they don’t even practice it.
