I always thought the goal was to win now? If you got the players you should try and win now. Bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush. Nothing is ever promised for tomorrow.

Any of these kids ever say…man I want to go to Mercer or Lincoln ? Nope they always want to go where they have basically unlimited resources or they find the lord.

Why not?

Maybe they need to bring in a former Coach like Troy Lee Thomas or maybe a young up and comer like Andrew Zahari at Rowan Co.

I’d have to rank them in order of likelihood and attractiveness just my .02 I know nothing, my family will tell you that. 1) Bethlehem, seem like a good combo for him. Goes back to his small school roots at Paris. But a better head start. Good Christ centered school, kinda his message. 2) Anderson Co. Kinda like Mercer and Mason. Stupid district. Good support but not elite support. Ran 2 guys out in 3 years. But a single school county 3) Lex Cath. Unlimited resources, but then being them. They will think they are better than him.Christ centered kind of his message. 4) Frankfort. Small numbers, great athletes. Poor facilities. Multi school county. Not sure he would want to get in recruiting game.

I’m glad for him. Heck of a basketball player! But he was an outstanding Football player. Don’t know what happened with Football at West Point. But the kid is a hell of a competitor!

Well that didn’t last long, that place is a cluster in athletics.
