Lloyd’s offense disappeared in the 4th quarter and made too many turnovers. Walker has to play in the paint and not roam the 3 point line if they have any shot at winning the 9th region. Huge game for Blaackar had to be a career high for him. Shoutout to Ej Walker for becoming the all time leading scorer in Lloyd Memorial history. Cool moment with the previous record holder Ryan Wilson in attendance at the game as well.

Elijah has a lingering football injury. Barring another setback he should be back in the next week. He’s a senior guard can really shoot it and I would guess he was their third/fourth leading scorer last season. He’s smart with the ball and has no problem defending the other teams best player.

Nobody in the 9th region was stopping Ej Walker tonight. Lloyd needs that inside performance from him more often and not hanging around the 3 point line. They are a very dangerous team but kudos to CovCath for staying the course and hitting big shots

Such as? The leading rebounder has played at King of Bluegrass 4 games and the Ashland invitational for 3 no slouches at either of those. Pretty crazy to think that Newport ever gets out rebounded.

A little surprising that Starks or Turner at Newport aren’t getting 8+ rebounds a game with such a height differential from most teams.

Johnson for Cooper has shot 48 3s compared to 91 for McGillis at CovCath. He must always have the green light.

Trinity is far from being a top team in the state. They haven’t looked good at all this season. Currently on a 6 game losing streak and 8 losses in December.
