15 minutes till tip off. Out of curiosity, and maybe this is well-known knowledge that I have just missed, what happened to Elijah Collins for Lloyd? He wore number 1 and is listed on their roster on KHSAA but I don’t see him in any stat lines and he’s not here warming up.

12-9 Lloyd after one. With an opening dunk, Walker became the all time leading scorer for LMHS. he kind of hung on the rim and could have been called for a Tech, that would’ve been funny.

33-30 Lloyd at half.

With three seconds left to go in the second quarter, Cooper was shooting a free throw. On the second make, Cooper had a player waiting to be subbed in. The horn should’ve sounded and play should have stopped for the sub. The scoreboard operator did not sound the horn and Lloyd went down and made a 3. What ensued was a relatively crazy and incensed coaching staff.

Tied at 55. Cooper on an 11-2 run.

Great resilience by Cooper. Big win for them. When it came to crunch time Andy Johnson showed up big time knocking down consecutive clutch shots when they needed them the most. Blaackar showed up huge for Lloyd but they couldn't get a bucket from Walker down the stretch when they needed it the most. Something looked off for Lloyd in the 4th qtr and I will credit that to Cooper players and Coach Sulli getting the job done. Lloyd looked pretty darn good for 3 qtrs even with Walker not dominating but man they got to be mad the way they gave that 4th qtr away.

Excellent game. Lived up to its billing.

Johnson scored 30 and Walker was shutout in the second half after netting 18 in the first, per the livestream.

Jags went on a big run from the middle of Q3 to the end of the game. Missed FT down the stretch for both could have turned the game either way.

Juggs maybe shot one trey in the second half; they've made 36% this year and they had some open looks. (?)

 

I think the only three they hit was that fiasco at the end of the 2nd quarter when the scoreboard operator messed up the substitution horn.

That was a HUGE miss by the officials! It’s not totally on the scoreboard operator, there were 3 officials there whose job it is, is to check the scoring table for subs on FTs. The sub was clearly there.  If Cooper had lost this game by 3 or less I would have hate to see Sully erupt are that. 
 

Good win for the Jags and Johnson is an absolute stud!

Slowly recovering from a football injury he should be back in the next week or so. He was at the game on the bench just not in uniform.
