  1. Taylor Co and Glasgow, these two teams are gonna make some noise if not win. These teams has some unfortunate injuries through the season. If healthy they have a chance to go as far as they want to go.
  2. I honestly feel both Taylor and Glasgow makes it out of round 2. If they don't the games will be super close.
  3. You are correct. Metcalfe came to play. Green didn't even know there was there till late. Blyth is a good player and was close to being an ineligible player this week due to his suspension. He's not the best athlete in our district and would be close to being #2. As far as area he would be around 5 or 6. If your talking about postion he plays and being the top in our area and district that's more feasible. Honestly the MVP of this game should go to Metcalfes line. They were getting to the LB every play opening up a hole a 747 could fit through.
  4. Glasgow and Taylor when Healthy are dangerous for any team. 3A playoffs are gonna be interesting.
  5. I'd have to agree. LCA is on a whole other level. One of the only teams I can see able to beat a Mayfield or Beachwood. Danville, Depending on what team shows up could be a good game or a nasty game.
  6. Green under performed. There nerves got the best of them. They started shakey, and didn't wake up till the 4th quarter. I will say they never gave up and kept grinding and was a onside kick from winning this game. Congrats to Metcalfe on the win. Bythe had a great game there key to win.
  7. Dang right! Houchens has every aspect to play division 1 ball. Haven't heard of an offers of yet through the rumor mill. Did catch a glimpse of him in a Eastern Kentucky uniform. Must have been from a GameDay visit. Seems like him and Seymour has an agreement. He lays the hit seymour picks up and runs. Best thing about Houchens that sets him apart from the rest is he don't care if he runs the ball or lead blocks. He can make a hole were a bus can drive through. He will do what it takes to get the W. Houchens has always been a mid season turn on. Green would have zero in the loss column. I hope to see this kid play at the next level. If everything works out he should be in a D1 school. Seymour is Seymour he's an athlete. He's gonna go out and give his 115% all while playing both sides of the ball. If this kid could find some weight he is gonna turns some heads. I see him playing after high school however it's gonna depend on his off-season workout and meal plan if he has one. He can go division 1 in track if that's the route he takes.
  8. I'm gonna go with LCA. Danville is so unpredictable with what team shows up.
  9. Absolutely. Green has some great tanlet. Houchens has the size speed, and ability to do anything he wants. Top in the 2A on sacks top 20 in 2A rushing. Seymour is a small back but runs like he's 215lbs. Top 25 rusher in 2A He's a lockdown defender. He's leading the team in scoring, tackles, tied with Houchens on forced fumbles. 2 fumbles recovered for TD, and one punt return for TD. Most underrated player is McKinney he can do all the above as he had 700+ yards rushing last year. He is Greens TE and LB. Leading the team in Receiving yards. This kid is a mule, and have seen film of dragging two to three defenders down field. You throw in Ferguson as a multi postion athlete. He can run the ball pass the ball, and catch the ball. He's small fast and agile. He bounces off defenders and can work through small holes. He is a great CB. Has the ability to pick 6 on any pass his way. What he lacks in height his vertical makes up. These two teams match up well. Blythe is an animal no doubt. If Metcalfe wins this game. He has to have a great night. Luke Meadows, and Bennett has to get to the backfield. Bennett is a playmaker on deffense and a pounder on offense.
  10. Absolutely. They are not a bad team. It's hard to compare Green, and Metcalfe because the only game in common is Campbellsville. Both Green and Metcalfe had fairly close scoring with Green giving up 7 and Metcalfe Giving up 14. Metcalfe hasn't really been tested on the defensive side of the ball. They return alot of the same players from last year squad. Green was able to take a one a dementional team and beat them last year. Granted Green lost a couple key Seniors on both sides of the ball from last year squad. (Lineman,LB) This year they won't be able to load the box and dare Green to pass. Green has a good QB Sophomore Hodges, and up to 5 targets with great hands (Ferguson,McKinney,Slinker,Houchen,Seymour) Plus have recently been a proven rusher when needed. Green also returns 2 1000+ yard rushers (Houchens,Seymour) which there stats are down from last year due to a much balanced offense. Green has battled with defense all season. The new play caller has moved around some of the pieces to help the deffense out. They have depended on the offense to win close games. They have gotten better each week. Will they be able to handle Metcalfes offense. Blythe WR is there main receiving target. He can also be brought in motion to run the ball or lead block. Estes QB is not only a pass threat but a run threat as well. Anderson and Bransetter are very hard nose rushers. Very strong and quick. They both can take a screen pass at turn it up for a TD. Should be a great game. I see this game coming down to the wire.
  11. Guarantee, the stands will be packed. It will be standing room only. I've heard both Metcalfe and Green are hyped for this game. Last Year meeting regular season Green came in to Metcalfe 8-0 left 8-1. They ended up splitting the meetings 1-1 with Greens convincing win in playoffs. This year a one shot for each team for the #1 seed and district champs. The atmosphere is gonna be electrifying.
  12. I feel as this Metcalfe team is more put together then the 2020 team.
  13. Campbellsville for the win. Coach Estes is doing a great job with the guys. Coach Griffiths a former Green co Dragons coach is a great addition to the coaching team.
  14. I really don't think there anywere near the 2020 team. They are a really good physical team. They have alot of returns from 2021. Blythe is one of there best players. He has a nose for the ball. He is also top 5 in 2A in receiving. They have a good chance to beat Green if Green don't execute well.
  15. Green co has gotten better each week. There offense is balanced, and Explosive. They are starting to figure out things on deffense. Metcalfe is Metcalfe. Coach Harbison has done a great job getting these guys ready. Bennett and Bransetter are tough down hill runners. You load the box and the one of the top receivers in 2A is taking it to the house. There huge upfront with the return of District POY Luke Meadows. Metcalfe was clear favorite to win first half of the season. I think Green has closed that gap. I'm going with Green. 52 to 40 in a shoot out. Green has played a tougher schedule, and could very easily be setting at 8 and 0 coming in.
  16. My apologies. Must have auto saved it that way. I shall fix my predictive text.
  17. Mayfeild should be able to handle Murray. I'm gonna go with the under dog though. Give me Murray by 3.
  18. I'm not sure I would want to have Taylor or Glasgow first round. Both of these teams are dangerous. I believe Taylor when healthy is a top tier team. They have the tanlet. They have used the last couple of weeks to heal. They made some changes on defense. It's gonna be an exciting playoffs 2022 in 3A.
  19. After week 4 Metcalfe was a clear Favorite. Now Green looks to have built momentum, and has closed that gap. Should be a great game.
