I expect at least one more break out season next year. Possibly even better then this season. There kids have heart, and the willingness to win.

Congrats! On the win. I don't see Metcalfe having a remotely close game till Green on Oct. 21st. Then possibly there last game against KCD. Which honestly I know nothing about except stats. Metcalfe has over achieved alot of folks Outlook on the season. They have 2 big wins over Barren and Campbellsville. Right now there clear favorite in district.

As expected a Green win. Green co Deffense looked a little more poised. Green still has a long way to go on deffense. These next few games should help build the confidence as a defensive unit, and give the coaches time to rest some key players. Hodges Qb for Green looked really good again. He is improving by each game. I look for him to be a big factor the rest of the season. Monroe County, even though the score doesn't reflect it has improved alot this season. They are starting alot of freshman. They could make some noise next couple of years. Undoubtedly Green co is a top 10 team in 2A. There next game that should be anywere close or competitive should be in 2 weeks. Campbellsville at home. Then Oct 21 against Metcalfe at home. If, that's a small word with a big meaning. If they get there deffense lined out I could see them winning out.

Hart County has improved alot since last season. I was expecting a close game. Honestly, really wasn't expecting them to pull it off. Great win for that program, and something they can most definitely build on the rest of the season. Glasgow will bounce back. Can't wait to see the Taylor Co match-up.

Honestly at this point in the season your probably right. Green has no defense as of the last three weeks. They have plenty of fire power on offense. If Green isn't able to get it together on Deffense. Then Metcalfe should be Champs, but it won't be a blowout.

I don't see metcalfe loosing a game anytime soon. There biggest game will be against Green Oct. 21. At the moment Metcalfe looks to be the clear favorite in that game. Next 4 games should be running clock jv closes. Hornets are having a good season, and better then I expected.

Catholic Cinderella story continues here. I think it will be closer then most might think.

You hit the nail on the coffin. Defense, Defense, Defense. If Green had a decent defense they would more then likely be setting at 3-0 instead of 1-2. Houchens, had his best game of the season last week versus Taylor. I would love to see him moved back as Linebacker, and try someone else on the end. This should close a few gaps in the run defense. I have faith in Coach Phelps. I believe he will find the right combo, and get his defense tidy. I think this team is better then they have showed. Too much tanlet on that team to be 1-2 right now. When they can build confidence, momentum, and Play as a team they are gonna be dangerous. At Monroe I expect Green to win. Monroe is gonna be hungry searching for that win. Does Green come in, and manhandled Monroe out of frustration? Friday we shall see. Give me Green by 21.

Tough one to call. Taylor Co with Smith is hard to handle. However, Taylor Co dosent have alot on defense. I'm gonna pick Taylor in a close battle.

I'm thinking this game could be close early. Would be a huge win for Nelson. I'm gonna go with Nelson with the upset, and that's because they are the underdog. Etown has alot of tanlet, and the probability isn't high for Nelson. However, they may shock a few people.

There remaining games. They have a chance to go Undefeated the regular season. Don't know much about country day. Green would be there only competing game left. Harbison metcalfe coach is a great coach. Are they down from the team they had with Dial at QB yes. There strength in schedule isn't impressive. Best win over Barren which is having a surprising year. Metcalfe has a good defense and decent offense. Would say they are not as of explosive as previous years. But most definitely a top 10 team in 2A.

That certainly opens things up in 2A but still LCA is gonna be a tough out. Gonna make for some good playoff games this season.

Absolutely, Houchens is a beast. This kid can do it all. Good strength and good speed. This kid is also a killer lead block. He can catch the ball. He may end up leading the team in Tackles if not he be top 3. Honestly I would like to see him dropped back as LB with Seymour and McKinney. Seymour for his size and weight. Which from the last camp and there report that he has made it up to 165 at 5'11. So it looks as he has put on around 20 to 25 pounds on the off-season. He is the fastest kid on the team. For a smaller back shows some pure strength. Seymour vision of the feild has always been far superior of anyone that's has paded up for Green. If he can bulk up 20 lbs he's a diffrent animal. He should be top two in tackles for the year. I think the game changer on offense this year is gonna rely on McKinney and Ferguson. Huston Hodges 2nd year in his life ever playing football first year starter you couldn't tell by how he plays. I'm kinda disappointed on his late start this kid could have some stars on his recruit sheet already if he had played from LL up. This season is gonna depend on if they can get there defense together and take some of the pressure off the offensive. Defense wins big games.

As predicted that smith would make this game competitive. @GC-Dragons very well said. This was exciting game to watch. I'll be there for the glasgow game too. I predicted 42 to 41 with smith. I would say that was pretty close. Both defensively has potential but needs alot of work.

Watching the game. Well was. Smith is a good player but the best in the area is hard to justify when there is just as much tanleted players in the area. He is towards the top. As said in the prediction Smith makes the game competitive but didn't make them 3 scores better as predicted. So as everyone said close game as it was.

Harbison always has metcalfe ready to play. They are not the caliber team as they were with Dial at QB but they do fairly well with there big line. Green and metcalfe are favorites in there district.
